Zenless Zone Zerofeatures multiple fun activities and events that you can participate in to claim Polychromes and other rewards. Some of these events are time-consuming, while others can be finished within a single day.
One such event that was added alongside the version 1.5 update is Harmonic Pact, and it’s tied to the featured 5-star units of the patch, Astra Yao and Evelyn. If you are looking to participate in this event and claim all the rewards, here’s a guide that will make the task easier for you.
Harmonic Pact Eligibility
The Harmonic Pact eventstarted on May 09, 2025, and willconclude on June 03, 2025. You have to reachInter-Knot Level 15and also complete theSoldier 11 Agent Storyto participate in the event.
You can participate in the event without completing any other story quests. However, it is recommended you complete the other story quests, as there will be spoilers and references that will damage the overall experience if you directly jump into the event.
Thestory quest will be available even after the event is gone, but the other parts will be gone, and you’ll miss out on the Polychromes. As such, it is recommended you complete the event in time so that you can save the Polychromes for future characters.
Harmonic Pact Event Overview
The Harmonic Pact event is divided into two parts:Story and Special. TheStory part includes the Astra-nomical Moment special episodefeaturing Astra and Evelyn. You’ll need to complete the story, as it is part of the progression for 100 percent event completion.
The Special part is divided into four subsections:Fugitive March, Trembling Temptation, Requiem,andHollow Concerto. These are combat activities and your task is to defeat all the enemies. you’re able to’t pick any other characters here except Astra and Evelyn, and all you have to do is pretty much defeat the enemies.
The whole purpose of the combat event is to give players an idea of how the featured 5-star units function.
In the combat stages, namely Fugitive March, Trembling Temptation, Requiem, and Hollow Concerto, if any agent is defeated, the stage immediately fails, and you have to restart once again.
Fugitive March
This is thefirst part of the event,and these are targets that you’ll have to meet are mandatory :
You’ll receive abuff here calledPerfect Pitch,where every time Astra’s attacks hit enemies, they will be marked and receive 50 percent bonus damage for 12 seconds. As such, all you need to do isIdyllic Cadenza State by activating her Special Attack. Once in the state, you can deal damage to enemies to mark them.
Once the enemies are marked, switch to Evelyn and finish off all the targets. Repeat the process until the stage is cleared.
Trembling Inspiration
This is the second part of the event, and these are the targets that you’ll have to meet:
You’ll also receive two buffs here for both Astra and Evelyn. Astra’s Buff, Perfect Pitch, will be the same as the previous one, where hitting enemies will increase the damage they take.Evelyn’s buff called Stars and Strings in Harmonywill ensure that when a Chain Attack or Ultimate is used on a marked enemy, Astra will perform an additional attack that will deal damage within a certain area.
This means that the additional attack will mark enemies once again, and Evelyn will continue dealing high damage to all targets. All you need to do here isspam Evelyn’s Chain Attacksas much as possible and use the Ultimate whenever it becomes available. This will allow you to clear the stage quickly.
The Snap Bangboo will also be available to try out in the event, as it hasgood synergy with Astra Yao and Evelyn.
Requiem
This is the third part of the event and these are the targets that you’ll have to meet:
Both Astra and Evelyn will receive buffs here similar to the previous stages, and they function in the exact same way. However,Astra also receives a new buff called Heavy Metalwhere her additional attacks will generate 500 Decibels for the entire team.
This means you’ll be able tospam Evelyn’s Ultimatemore often, which will help you to clear the stage faster. Apart from that, you clear this stage in the exact same way as the previous one.
Hollow Concerto
This is the final part of the event, and these are the targets that you’ll have to meet:
The buffs for Astra and Evelyn are exactly the same as the ones in Requiem. There’s no special trick to defeat this stage, either, as all you’ll need to do is spam Evelyn’s attacks on targets marked by Astra and finish them off as fast as possible.
However, in this stage,there’s a points system, and you’ll need to hit 2,000 pointsto receive all the rewards. You can get it done in one try as long as you finish the stage within the time limit. If not, you can repeat it multiple times until the total points have been achieved.
