Despite still being a few months old, the Cipher controllershave had their prices cut by $20in Best Buy’s Black Friday sale.
It’s what you can do with the $20 you save that makes this makeshift bundle even more appealing, particularly if you want to play Xbox games in another room in your house, or even if you don’t have an Xbox at all. Amazon’s 4K Fire Stick, one of two models needed to play games on Game Pass,has had $28 knocked off its usual price at Best Buy for Black Friday, bringing the cost down to $21.99.

Xbox kicked off a new collection of controllers in 2024 dubbed the Cipher range. Its designs are a throwback to the transparent video game tech of 25 years ago and so far you can get the Cipher in Sky or Ghost designs.
Amazon Fire Stick
Amazon’s Fire Stick is a streaming device that plugs right into your TV and provides you with quick and easy access to a variety of services, including Netflix, Disney Plus, and of course, Amazon Prime. Plus the Xbox TV App starting in July 2024 which will let you stream games on Game Pass without a console.
That means you can buy a Cipher controller plus a Game Pass-compatible Fire Stick for just $2 more than you would normally pay for one of Xbox’s transparent controllers all by itself. For those who don’t know,Game Pass was rolled out on select Fire Stick modelsover the summer which means you no longer have to own an Xbox to use Game Pass. Just a Fire Stick, a compatible controller, and a Game Pass subscription.
