Just two days separate 2024 from 2025, andthe upcoming new year promises to be a strong year when it comes to gaming. The likes ofGrand Theft Auto 6,Borderlands 4andMafia: The Old Country have all been given 2025 release windows, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
2025 will also bring in the next batch of annualized sports titles, includingWWE 2K25. While no cover star has been announced just yet, fans are already looking forward to the various wrestlers who will make their WWE debut when the game does launch. WWE games have historically implemented a “cut-off” timeframe for adding new roster members,and while DLC does do some lifting, not everyone makes the cut.
Taking to Reddit, WWE fans discussed the wrestlers they are absolutely looking forward to throwing into the squared circle.

Immediately, fans cited Jacob Fatu as one of their most anticipated roster additions. The heavy muscle of The Bloodline has become a fan favorite since his debut, and will undoubtedly be part of the base roster.
“I downloaded a CAW in 2K24, and I’ve already had a blast,“one gamer wrote. “The official version will be amazing, I’m sure.”
The team of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, AKA The Motor City Machine Guns,was another highlight for fans. The duo made their WWE debut several weeks ago after being TNA stalwarts for years on end. “Their tag team moveset is gonna be top-notch,“a user noted.
Elsewhere,fans were quick to cite Oba Femi as another must-play addition. Femi hasn’t been wrestling for very long (2021) but has immediately inserted himself as a fan favorite in NXT, WWE’s developmental brand. Personally, this writer can’t wait to dive in with either Giulia or Stephania Vaquer.
