Medkits are one of the most vital resources inHyper Light Breaker. Particularly early on in your campaign, healing is scarce. Plus, the Overgrowth has enemies that can down you in just a few hits, bringing your run to a swift conclusion.
So, if you intend to complete your cycle and make it all the way to the Abyss King, you’re gonna need the ability to heal. However, at the start of the game, it’s not necessarily easy to heal yourself. That’s why we’ve got you covered with this handy guide that includes everything you need to know to craft Medkits.

How To Get Medkits
First things first – if you want to make it out in the Overgrowth, you’ll need plenty of Medkits,which heal you for +75 HP.
During your run,you may find Medigems, small green plantsthat can heal you for +5 HP. These helpful plantscan be found all over the Overgrowth and help craft Medkits.
Sometimes, depending on your gear, you may also get boons that help heal you.
Nothing quite does the trick like Medkits. However,to start collecting this resource,you’ll need to first expand your Medkit storage.
How To Expand Your Medkit Storage
At the start of your adventure,your Breaker has no available Medkit storage. This is a permanent upgradeyou’ll need to unlock through Pherus Bit, your mission captain back at the Cursed Outpost.To expand your storage, simply trade in one Golden Ration resourceto increase your storage by one.
You can earn Golden Rations by completing cycles and converting your leftover resources into Golden Rations, or by exploring Drop Down Labs in the Overgrowth.
How To Craft Medkits
There are a few ways to earn and craft Medkits once you’ve expanded your storage.The first and easiest method happens automaticallyat the start of each run.
As you collect Medigems,your Breaker will automatically convertthis resource into Medkitsas you launch the Telipad like so.

It’s important to note that your Breaker will only create enough Medkits to fill your storage. No more, no less.
How To Earn Medkits
The second method to get Medkitsis to use Medigems in the Overgrowth at Shrines. We’ve all been on a run where we need to quickly refuel.
Luckily, in the Overgrowth,there are various shrines that will allow you to trade Medigems for Medkits.
At a Shrine, the process of conversion is slightly more costly at five Medigems per Medkit restock. So, make use of Shrines only when necessary.
How To Buy Medkits
The last method for getting more Medkits is tobuy them in the Overgrowth. Though not guaranteed,there are typically Vendors on the map.
Their stock changes and is completely randomized, but sometimes, theseVendors have Medkits for salein exchange for Brightblood.
Brightblood is the most common resourcein Hyper Light Breaker, and is almost always dropped by felled enemies.
