Similar to every other raid inDestiny 2, there are two secret chests, which you may find in Garden of Salvation. There is one immediately after the first encounter and another one before the final boss. These hidden chests are your only source of Raid Mods, like Enhanced Relay Defender, which are incredibly powerful, especially in speedruns or low-man challenges.
Moreover, you have to loot both chests once to get the Secret Garden triumph needed for the Enlightened seal. Also, do note that these chests will always drop items that you have already acquired from doing raid encounters. This means you cannot rely on these hidden chests to complete your Collections.
Garden Of Salvation Secret Chests
Garden of Salvation is thesecond raid to get a perk-pool refresh(including an Origin Trait) across all its weapons. Furthermore,every weaponin the raidis now craftable.
Following the perk-pool refresh, Bungie announced that thesecret chests in the Garden of Salvation raid will drop weaponsas well. If you are not into crafting, this should give you ample chances to find your desired rolls.
Again, remember thatthese chests will only drop random-rollsof the weapons you have already found from the encounters.
Secret Chest 1
After completing the first encounter, where you chase the Consecrated Mind through the Black Garden,jump down into the large hole. Below, you will see the area split into two paths. You need tostay on the left sideuntil you reach a stone platform.
Continue ahead on the large tree root, and you shouldsee an elevator in the distance. Right next to this elevator, you will seea little opening in the wall(on the left), where you will find the secret chest. If you are not confident in jumping directly,hop on the elevator firstand then do the jump.
Secret Chest 2
The second hidden chest in Garden of Salvation isafter the third encounter. If you are at the Sanctified Mind, you have gone too far, so do not let your fireteam pull you! From the third encounter, follow the path until youreach Boundless Horizon.
A little ahead, you willsee a Vex windmill-like structure. You need tojump on a blade,stand at the very edgeof it, andtravel to the topof the area. Once you are up, you will find yourself in an open space with some statues, trees, and waterfalls.Stay on the rightside, continueup the hill, and you will eventuallysee two openings in a large tree.
This isnot the intended wayto get to the top, but almost everyone uses it becauseit is faster.
Head inside theopening on the left, climb up, and you will see thesecond hidden chest in the corner.
Open the chest to get your loot, complete the last twoDivinity Puzzles, and head to theSanctified Mind.
