While playingSengoku Dynasty, most of your time will be spent mining either a form of wood or metal. As you progress through the different tiers of equipment, you’ll consistently need to go on resource-gathering runs. You’ll also need the ice resource once you get to the mid-game.
This is one of the rarest resources in the game due to its limited presence. Even if you don’t need it, you’d want to start mining ice as early as possible so that you can have a good stack of it when you require it.
Where To Get Ice In Sengoku Dynasty
The first thing you need to know while looking to get some ice is that, as you’d expect, you can only find it in the winter season. You can change seasons through your bell tower every two days, and they automatically get cycled every four days if you don’t do it yourself. You mainly need to change seasons to finish your special projects.
Once you’re in winter, simply open your map andhead to the giant pool to the northeast of Segi village. This pool extends between two regions that have ice as the village resource source as well. When you reach it, you’ll see a frozen lake with a bunch of ice clusters on it.
You’ll need tocreate a bronze pickaxeor better to mine these structures.
Before you reach winter and get the tools to mine ice, it’s also recommended toget the Efficient Miner skillto the maximum since itsignificantly increases the amount of resources you get while mining. You’ll also need an Ice storage to keep this ice and prevent it from melting for a long period of time.
What Is Ice Used For?
It’ll take quite a few hours of gameplay in Sengoku Dynasty before you start requiring ice, since itonly happens when you make the Basic Brewery building, which requires you to reach Dynasty level ten. You’ll need Ice to build a couple of furniture inside this building.
Once you have it fully built, you’ll further need Ice in the fermenting barrel to create a Fermented Mixture, which leads to the ability to make Sake. You’ll use most of your ice in this building.
