The Ancient Relics might not seem like much at first inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, but they’re part of a larger puzzle. These 50 collectibles tie into the Riddles of the Ancients Discovery quest and play an important role later in the adventure.
If you’ve already dug up the ten relics in the Vatican, Gizeh adds 15 more to your growing collection, bringing you halfway to the full set. Finding them won’t be easy, though. Many are buried in dig sites, locked behind puzzles, or hidden in plain sight. We’ve detailed the location of every Ancient Relic in Gizeh.
The Gizeh Relic exploration guide, found behind the railway track near a small campsite guarded by three dogs, shows the locations of the Ancient Relics on the Gizeh map. It’ll make your relic hunt much easier.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #1 Location
You’ll find the first Gizeh Ancient Relicinside a ruin sealed behind a locked gatejustwest of the Workers Area. To unlock the gate, you’ll need theHaunted Tomb Key. you’re able to grab this key in theWorkers Area’s restricted section. Head to thecenter tent and check under the scattered notesto find it.
Picking up the notes and key also initiates theHaunting Mysteryquest, whichleads you straight to the relic. Simply follow the quest marker, and you’ll grab it in no time.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #2 Location
After getting thelighter for the Sanctuary of the Guardians Fieldwork, you’llmake your way deeper into the dig sitebeneath the Giant Sphinx with Gina in tow. You’ll soon find yourselfyanking the first gate mechanism, but it’s rigged to reveal a nasty spike pit below.
To get past it,latch onto the whip-point overheadandcarefully lower yourself into the pit. Look for an opening in the wall, crawl through it, and you’llenter a room where you’ll find a way to seal the pit, clearing the path for Gina.
Before you leave,check the statue on the left wallin the same room. That’s where you’ll find one of the Ancient Relics.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #3 Location
After solving the second mirror puzzle in the Sanctuary with Gina’s help, you’ll enter a newarea with a cracked floor. To the left,Gina controls a mirror that clears out the scorpions, letting you ledge-climb across the giant gap. However,over to the right, you’ll find a room across the cracked floor, where you’ll discover another Ancient Relic.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #4 Location
The final Ancient Relic in the Giant Sphinx dig site can befound near the end of the Sanctuary of the Guardians' fieldwork, but you’ll have tomake a detourto grab it.
Head to thetop of the staircase near the shortcut to the dig site entrance. From here,walk along a small ledge to the rightandjump across to the opposite side. Navigate the next ledge, and you’llenter a tiny compartment where you’ll find the relic.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #5 Location
One of the Ancient Relics is yourreward for solving theSeat of Eternity Mystery. You’ll pick up this quest afterescaping the Nazi Compound and speaking with one of Nawal’s spies. They’ll point youtoward an underground crypt northeast of the Nazi Recreational Area, marked by acampsite and a trio of wild dogs.
Inside the crypt’s puzzle room, you’ll need toplace four Canopic Jars on their matching pedestals. The Baboon Jar can be tricky — it’shidden behind a breakable walljust outside the puzzle room. Once every jar is in position,the sarcophagus in the room will automatically open, and you’ll find the relic inside ready for the taking.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #6 Location
This Ancient Relic is another prize for solving a puzzle.Fast travel to the Khentkawes Excavation signpostandround the nearby cabintoenter a small compartment through a windowat the back.
You’ll find alocked chest inside, and theclipboard beside it provides a cryptic clueto unlock it, which is very simple to decipher.The code translates to 3262. Use this combination to unlock the chest and claim the relic inside.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #7 Location
You’ll find this Ancient Relic inside some ruins that can be accessed through an entrancebehind the Great Sphinx. Crawl through the tight passage inside, and you’llarrive at a chamber with a chain mechanismfor unlocking a giant door. The relic is sitting right beside it.
you’re able to also reach this exact area bycarefully lowering yourself from a whip-point northeast of the weather stationin central Gizeh. Either path gets you to the relic.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #8 Location
This Ancient Relic can be found in the sameflooded room that contains the generatorthat gets theelevator running for theSecret of the Queen Mother Fieldworkin theTomb of Khentkawes. Inside the flooder chamber, swim over to the far end, and enter a small section surrounded by wooden scaffolding. You’ll find the Ancient Relic resting on the floor.
You might want tograb the Wehrmacht Uniform first, as the Tomb of Khentkawes is a restricted area. You’ll find the disguise inside the watchtower that you’ll come across after encountering Voss and escaping the Nazi Compound.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #9 Location
Much like one of theVatican City Ancient Relicsyou acquire by snapping pictures of the tenStrange Inscriptions, you’ll obtain this one in Gizeh in a similar fashion.
You’ll need totrack down all tenStele dotted throughout Gizehanddeliver them to the delivery man in the Workers' Area.
Once you’ve handed them over, he’ll place the Ancient Relic next to the crate for you to take.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #10 Location
You’ll find this Ancient Relicinside a safe in the basement of the headquartersthat houses Voss’s office inthe Nazi Compound. Thecode is 40926, which you’llfind upstairs on a deskin the strategy room.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #11 Location
You’ll also find this one in the headquarters building. To get to it,climb the stairs all the way to the top, andenter the room with two Nazi banners. Once there, head through the exit at the far end, and enter another room. You’ll spot therelic hidden inside a crate, which isstashed behind a stack of wooden boxes.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #12 Location
The remaining Ancient Relics in Gizeh arefound in the Ancient Caves, which you’ll access afteradvancing the main story and solving theChamber of Resonance puzzle. You’ll trigger a trap door that drops you into the Ancient Caves afterspeaking the Adamic textin the following order:

After that, navigate the Ancient Caves until youcome across the first adjustable mirror. Simplybacktrack a little to the chasm, and over to the right, you canjump across to the other side, where you’ll find a relic.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #13 Location
Beyond the first adjustable mirror, you’llcome across the elaborateThree Eyed Gate puzzle. One of the Ancient Relics is in this area, and the good news is you don’t need to solve the puzzle to claim it. Justhead through the first door on the leftandstep into the small cavern on the rightto find it.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #14 Location
After solving the tricky light puzzle, you’llemerge in the Ancient Abyss, where the final two Gizeh relics await. For the first one,stick to the path on the leftof the crumbled bridgeand use your whip to cross any gaps you encounter.
Once you’vemade it through a small tunnel, turn around to the right, and you’ll spot the Ancient Relic lying at the foot of a statue.
Gizeh Ancient Relic #15 Location
For the final Gizeh Ancient Relic,jump across to the middle section of the crumbled bridgefrom the previous relic.Drop down the ledge belowandfollow it around to a puzzle that lets you insert the Ancient Relicsyou’ve collected. The more relics, the better, but it took us five to crack it.Insert them one by one, and nodes will start popping out.
Keep at it untilall the nodes are out, andan adjacent doorway will open, revealing the last Ancient Relic in Gizeh waiting inside.
