Every newFortniteseason brings in more new and technical mechanics; it means more ways for its players to experiment with their creativity on the battle royale map either against enemies or teammates. With Chapter Six’s introduction, the game has brought us Sprites.
While the Air and Water Sprites are adorable little creatures, the Earth Sprites have more of a distinct appearance than their other counterparts, and they remain immobile. These Earth Sprites are spread all over the battle royale map and act quite in a different manner. Here is everything you need to know before interacting with the Earth Sprites.
Earth Sprites Location
There are a total oftwenty-two spawn pointsfor all the Earth Sprite locations, but withonly five appearing per match, the odds of encountering one are quite slim. However, you may want to lookaround the spots providing a high chanceof Earth Sprites spawning:
The Earth Sprites have ahigher spawn rate near forestbiomes.
What Are Earth Sprites Used For?
Unlike Air and Water Sprites' eligibility to be traded in the Sprite Shrines for Sprite Boons and a few more items,Earth Sprites are the polar opposite; the players can use them to trade items.
To trade items with the Earth Sprites, equip the item they require and walk up closeuntil you can see the interaction prompt. Upon successful trade, the Earth Sprite will eat the item and provide you witha legendary weapon or item in exchange. However, the Earth Sprites are temporarily unavailable after a trade, and you may have to wait a few moments before making another trade offer.
Fortnite’s Chapter Six, Season One brought a load of top-tier, overpowered weapons to the battle royale island. Using Earth Sprites can provide you with an edge of gaining a superior weapon almost immediately.
