After defeating Geonor in Act One ofPath of Exile 2, it’s time to move to Act Two. Here, you’ll be in a sandy desert filled with a new variety of even tougher enemies and bosses for you to take on. Similar to the first act, Act Two brings a lot of optional bosses for you to take on as well.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at every optional boss that you can take on in Act Two of Path of Exile 2. This will include where to find them, as well as what unique items they drop upon defeat for the first time.
Every Optional Boss In Act Two
Below, you’ll find a table highlighting every Act Two optional boss. There aren’t quite as many optional bosses here as there are in Act One, but they can allstill be challenging to take on if you aren’t prepared.
In Act Two, you canpartake in the Trial of Sekhemas to ascend. Technically, this is optional, but a majority of players choose to do this. There are bosses here, butwe haven’t included them in our list.This includes Rattlecage, who you’ll face at the end of your first trial.

This boss is required to defeat if you want to ascend.
Nothing too unique, but rare items may drop
The Halani Gates
This isn’t a boss with an orange nameplate; L’im appears like a typical gold-named enemy. You’ll know you are close when the path starts to narrow and there are bodies on stakes present.

Keth
Kabala is found in a slightly-lowered pit. When battling, she will burrow under this little arena if you stray too far.
Jewel
The Lost City
This giant beetle goes back and forth in a rectangular room. While here, you can expect to see a lot of smaller beetles being summoned.
Watchful Twins (Mugin and Hunin)

These twins are in a giant bone arena. Interestingly, these two bosses can have random modifiers, which adds some unpredictability to the fight.
