Medicine Bottles inIndiana Jones and the Great Circleserve as an unconventional currency type that Indy can swipe from the fascists. While their purpose isn’t immediately clear, they become essential in the recurring “A Remedy for All Discovery” quest found in every region Indy explores. These collectibles can be traded to permanently enhance his constitution.
The Vatican City introduces the first iteration of this quest and houses 15 Medicine Bottles dotted throughout the area. You’ll need to collect them all to trade at Valeria’s pharmacy and secure the Adventure Books that improve Indy’s health and stamina. Here’s where to find each one.

How To Use The Vatican City Medicine Bottles
The “A Remedy For All” quest kicks off when youstumble upon your first Medicine Bottle, and aquick chat with the pharmacist Valeriareveals their purpose. She’ll mention ashortage of medicinesandrequest you to bring her any Medicine Bottles you find.
Turning in these bottleslets you buy the first three Moxie and Shaping Up Adventure Books, which increases Indy’s stamina and health, respectively. The first book of each series costs five bottles, with each subsequent upgrade increasing by five more.
While the Medicine Bottles you’ll find in the Vaticanwon’t cover all six books, don’t fret; you’llfind plenty more in Gizehlater.
All Vatican City Medicine Bottle Locations
All 15 Medicine Bottles in Vatican City arescattered across the overworld, so you won’t need to descend into the underworld for this task. Most of them arefound in areas patrolled by Blackshirts, so be cautious. If yousnag one in their presence, they’llraise the alarm. Alwaysensure the coast is clearbefore making your move.
Description
Belvedere Courtyard
Inside thesoutheastern tent. However, aguard stationed in the nearby security boothwon’t make stealing it easy. Take care of him first before collecting the Medicine Bottle.
Inside a fascist tentwith oil barrels inthe restricted area of Belvedere Courtyard. Unless you’rewearing the Blackshirt Uniform, you’ll need tocrawl through an opening in the fence to sneak inand grab this Medicine Bottle.

Borgia Tower
From the previous Medicine Bottle,climb the nearby scaffoldinganduse a whip point to ascend further onto a roof. You’ll find this one resting on a wooden crate.
Apostolic Palace
Headeast from the Borgia Courtyards to reach the Apostolic Palaceentrance. The Medicine Bottle isunderneath the staircasejust inside. Without the Blackshirt Uniform, however, the guard outside won’t let you in, so you’ll need to deal with them first.

Via Di Belvedere
Take theexit leading to the Vatican Post Office from the Belvedere Courtyardand enter through themetal gate on the right. Inside the dead-end alley, you’ll find the Medicine Bottle on a table.
Vatican Post Office
Head into thealleyway behind the Vatican Post Office. You’ll spot theMedicine Bottle resting on a small wooden tablenear a fascist propaganda poster on the wall.
Tower of Nicholas the Fifth
You’ll find this Medicine Bottlein front of a large wooden gateto the south of the tower.
Blackshirt Barracks
Outside the barracks,climb the scaffoldingtoreach an overhang. Navigate along it until you reach a zipline, which willcarry you straight through a window into one of the barracks. Inside, you’ll find the Medicine Bottle.
Inside one of the barracks thatunlocks with the Blackshirt Key. You’ll acquire thekey along with the Blackshirt Uniformafter meeting Gina for the first time in thefascist laundry areabelow the balcony.
Excavation Site
During theA Savage Discoveryside quest, you’llenter a cabin in the dig siteto search for someone named Giuseppe. You’ll find the Medicine Bottleresting on a bench inside.
To get this Medicine Bottle, you’llneed to startthe Mad Priestquestand progress until youacquire the Sewer Key. Navigate through the Sewers,climb up to the ledge above, and then head upstairs to enter thestoreroom section of the Apostolic Castle. Along the way, you’ll find the Medicine Bottle, which you wouldn’t be able to access without doing this quest.

Progress through the “A Nun In Trouble” quest until youacquire Giuliana’s Key, whichunlocks the door inside the Borgia Tower. Work your way around the balcony, and you’llfind the Medicine Bottle beside a zipline.
