Arena of Gods is one of the game modes in Age of Mythology: Retold. This mode begins with a narrative structure, making it similar to the Campaign. In this mode, you control Kastor, the son of Arkantos, the main character of the Campaign. Kastor, in collaboration with Gaia, aims to stop Kronos.

What makes Kastor special and sets him apart from other hero units is thathe never truly dies.Instead of dying, Kastor falls wounded and remains on the ground for a while before you can control him again.
