As Shigaraki has managed to snuff out All For One’s vestige and take back control, All For One intends to reunite with Shigaraki to resolve the issue for good. With All For One usingEri’s Rewind Quirkto restore himself, he was also ina race against time before he was rewound completely out of existence.

All For One’s Last Stand

Although his original self was killed,All For One’s vestige appears to take back control from Shigaraki.

Midoriya made astrategic move in hisearlier fightwith Shigaraki by transferringOne For Allto him. Due to the sheer load of the Quirks and the power of nine wielders of One For All within him, Shigaraki’s body begins to break apart.

Tomura Shigaraki and Midoriya Izuku land a decisive punch at All For One.

Despite All For One’s goal of being the ultimate ‘demon lord’, his claims ring hollow when his brother’s vestige begins to fade. All For One has done heinous things towards his brother, but his rapidly disintegrating control and motivation due to Yoichi’s permanent lossshowed his twisted, obsessive love for his sibling.

Ultimately, All For One was definitively defeated throughthe combined effort of Midoriya, the Pro-Heroes, all the vestiges of One For All and Shigaraki’s vestige. Sadly, Shigaraki himself faces a bittersweet end to his tragic life, disintegrating due to the toll done to his body.

Shigaraki Tomura encourages Midoriya before he fades.

Based on his final interaction with Midoriya,it’s suggested that Shigaraki has found peace and accepted that Shimura Tenko never really left him.

They eventually returned to UA to begin their second year, earning more renown for contributing to All For One’s defeat. Furthermore, it was alsoconfirmed that One For All is truly gone, leaving Midoriya Quirkless once more. However, he continues as a Hero student but is haunted by the fact he didn’t save Shigaraki’s life. Himiko Toga’s death also haunts Uraraka Ochako and both aredetermined to prevent cases like Shigaraki and Himiko from happening again.

The Eight-Year Timeskip

Surprisingly, Horikoshi introduces an eight-year timeskip during the Epilogue. Still Quirkless,Midoriya has become a Heroics teacheralongside his former teacher, Eraser Head. His classmates have become high-ranking heroes, with Lemillion shooting to the top spot whileShouto becomes the Number Two Pro Hero and Bakugo Number 15.

Midoriya appears satisfied with his life, believing he’d accomplished what he’d always dreamed of doing.

He also posits that he’s overjoyed with being a teacher and thatthere are other ways to help others beyond the Pro-Hero path. He stumbles across aspiring Hero wannabe Dai, who, just like he once was, wondered if he could be a Hero with a Quirk considered weak.

Like All Might did before him, it’snow Midoriya’s turn to pass his wisdom to the next era of heroes.

Moreover, Himiko Toga’s death pushedUraraka to spearhead a Quirk Counselling project, visiting schools to advise and prevent Quirk discrimination.

Uraraka repeatedly sees Himiko in her dreams. Since Himiko donated all her blood to save Uraraka’s life,Uraraka wonders if Himiko has turned into a vestige- however, this is not confirmed.

Deku Returns To Action

Just when you think Deku won’t return to the field, All Might comes in to save the day. The former Symbol of Peace intercepts Midoriya andhands him a case with the latest in high-tech superpowered suits, funded by his former classmates.

In a move that mirrors Armoured All Might,Midoriya becomes a working Pro-Hero alongside his friends, which is confirmed in the manga’s final chapter.

All Might gives Midoriya a high-powered suit.

The Future Of Hero Society

In one of his earliest scenes, Hawks cited that he dreamed of a world where Heroes would have plenty of time to kill. With the end of the Final War and the Hero Commission in shambles,Hawks takes over as the President of the HSPC.He acknowledges that the popularity contest of the Hero Billboard Chart has become a problem, and resolves to change it.

Fast-forward eight years and the Hero Billboard Chart has expanded, allowing for a selection of ‘greatest heroes’ instead of leaving it to one person. It’s noted that the number of crimes happening has decreased significantly, with Ojiro and Bakugo mentioning all the spare time they have, showing that Hawks' dream was finally realised.
