While 2024 was another strong year for games, there is no reason to believe that 2025 won’t be able to go toe-to-toe with it. We’ve got massive RPGs, big action blockbusters, and an array of charming indie titles all set to release in the next twelve months. While it is impossible to say what the future will hold, what we know for certain is that some pretty enticing games are lined up.
Things have filled out nicely, and the games set to release in 2025 are looking to be another strong batch. Sure, GTA may have been delayed to 2026, but it is still an exciting time to be a gamer! Make sure to check back often, as we will be updating this release calander weekly all the way until the end of the year.
Updated June 07, 2025 by James Kennedy:While we had a few slower weeks there, where we only had new release dates due to the ever-reliable indie scene, things have started to heat up again. We now have a release date for the massively anticipated Battlefield 6 and Dying Light: The Beast releases. Add to that release dates for the console version of Frost Punk 2, and the enticing-looking Dear Me, I Was, and you have a pretty nice late-July update.
