Magicraft, developed by Wave Game, is aroguelikecentered around casting and combining spells to produce a variety of effects. Upon discovering special Relic Rooms, you will be given the choice of a relic that can passively upgrade your character in ways that are distinct from spells.

These relics can have a variety of effects that can drastically alter how the game is played. Relics come in levels of increasing rarity, and high-ranking Epic Relics require a certain amount of health to be sacrificed to be used. What relics you’ll find the most useful will depend on your character, but these are some of the best.

The Endless Chest relic in Magicraft.

8Endless Chest

Rarity: Rare

When exploring the world of Magicraft, you will eventually discover chests. Chests come in several distinct varieties, and most will require a key to open. Customizing your character is at the heart of every roguelike, and Magicraft is no different.

With the Endless Chest relic, you’ll be able to maximize the value of every chest you find with a 30 percent chance to create a new chest when opening one. With some luck, at least a few of the chests you’ll find during your run will be duplicated, making this relic one worth taking.

The Replica Gloves relic in Magicraft.

7Replica Gloves

Rarity: Epic

Magicraft is all about casting spells. Spells can be cast with wands and their effects can combine in powerful and surprising ways. Replica Glove will allow you to maximize your casting power. Every time you cast a spell, there will be a 25 percent chance that the effect will be duplicated.

The duplicated effect will be cast in a random direction. But the more chaotic the game becomes, the more likely it will be to still have an effect. The more spells you can cast at once, the better.

The Merchant’s Bauble relic in Magicraft.

6Merchant’s Bauble

There are a variety of rooms that can be discovered when exploring the world of Magicraft that contain useful opportunities to upgrade your character or challenges to be beaten. With the Merchant’s Bauble relic, any shop or crafting room that you discover will automatically also generate a special room.

The more special rooms you encounter, the more you can ensure that your character will have the necessary power to take on all the challenges the game has to offer. The increased ability to access these rooms is always a useful tool.

The Finite Gloves relic in Magicraft.

5Finite Gloves

There are few tools more useful for taking out enemies in Magicraft than the Finite Gloves. While in your inventory, explosions will appear around you that will dispatch half of the foes on the screen that aren’t boss-level enemies.

This allows you to quickly clear rooms and allow you to focus on the greater threat during boss fights. Anything that allows you to defeat enemies more quickly is a powerful tool, and the Finite Gloves are no exception.

The Mirror of Vision relic in Magicraft.

Observant players will notice that these are in reference to the Infinity Gauntlet from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

4Mirror Of Vision

Rarity: Unique

Holding the Mirror of Vision relic in your inventory will bestow your character with the ability to fly and increase your wand limit by one. These wands will also contain the Wand Spirit+ spell, making the wand automatically attack.

This relic will turn you into a highly mobile force with increased firepower. The drawback is that your attacks become automated. This allows you to focus on dodging incoming damage, fundamentally changing the game more than any other combination of relics.

Prospector’s Pickaxe relic in Magicraft.

3Prospector’s Pickaxe

Rarity: Normal

When picking up the Prospector’s Pickaxe, your damage will increase by one percent for every three coins you have in your inventory. The more money you have saved up, the more powerful your character will be. The only limit that this relic has is your ability to gather coins.

Coins can still be spent, but with the added detriment of lowering your attack power when doing so. This effect can add up quickly, though, incentivizing you to find and hoard as much money as you possibly can.

The Prospector’s Vest relic in Magicraft.

2Prospector’s Vest

Much like the Prospector’s Pickaxe, the Prospector’s Vest is also a relic that relies on picking up coins. Where the Prospector’s Pickaxe increases your damage per coin, the Prospector’s Vest will restore your health upon picking them up.

This makes it a good relic to use when paired with the Prospector’s Pickaxe, allowing you to focus on picking up coins for increased health and damage. The Prospector’s Vest can only be found in special Scarlet Relic rooms and will cost 32 health to equip.

The Soulbone Mantle relic in Magicraft.

1Soulbone Mantle

Upon picking up the Soulbone Mantle, you will instantly be granted 20 points of shield. For every three enemies you defeat, you will be granted another point of shield. This makes the Soulbone Mantle more useful the earlier in your run you may pick it up.

The Soulbone Mantle can only be found in special Scarlet Relic rooms and will cost a whopping 99 health to equip.
