The Japanese side of thePokemon TCGis the first place you’ll find the newest card art before it makes its way over to English sets. Terastal Festival ex is packed with several stunning cards you’ll find in the English set, Prismatic Evolutions, but for now, you may enjoy their Japanese counterparts – if you’re willing to pay for them.

Updated July 18, 2025, by Andrew Scariati:Terastal Festival chase cards are shifting significantly in value as demand for the best cards increases. The Pokemon Terastal Festival highlights are primarily Eeveelutions, but one newcomer to the list bucks this trend.
12Eevee ex 224 (Special Art Rare) – $56.01
It’s All About Details
If it wasn’t for Eevee, there would be no Eeveelutions to chase in Terastal Festival ex, so it’s important to recognize where it all begins. Luckily, Eevee’s popularity earns it a place among the most valuable Terastal Festival chase cards.
This Eevee claims a slight lead over its other SAR counterpart, Eevee ex 223, though both cards feature remarkably similar designs. The primary difference is that this Eevee is depicted in a fruit arrangement (also dubbed “Fruit Bowl Eevee”) while the other choice features a more muted, floral background.
11Leafeon (Master Ball Foil) – $61.00
Return Of The Masters
Leafeon is typically depicted loving life in a forest setting, and this card continues that trend with an adorable moment of this Pokemon playing with water from a serene stream.
Keep in mind that theMaster Ball Foil version features a holographic stamp in the center of the card, but is otherwise visually identical.
Master Ball Foils saw incredible rises and falls in Scarlet & Violet: 151, and this Leafeon, along with its kin, are likely to see the same, especially given that Prismatic Evolutions offers them in English.
10Vaporeon ex (Special Art Rare) – $62.40
Something In The Water
Vaporeon hasn’t seen as much love in recent years as some of the other Eeveelutions featured among the best Terastal Festival chase cards. Despite its lack of representation, this Eeveelution returns with one of the most visually stunning cards in the entire set.
Despite a relatively strong placement among its best chase cards, this vibrant Vaporeon depiction might be one of the most underrated SARs in Terastal Festival. While it’s far from the most popular Pokemon, Terastal Festival gave Vaporeon one of the best designs in the set.
9Pikachu ex (Ultra Rare) – $63.79
A Familiar Pikachu
You might recognize this design from the Pikachu ex Hyper Rare printed in English as one ofthe most valuable cards in Surging Sparks.Despite an almost identical design, there are a few key differences in coloration, most notably in Pikachu’s eyes and cheeks, which have their black and red colors overwritten by gold.
While this design choice doesn’t strictly make the card better or worse, the dead look in Pikachu’s eyes is mildly off-putting, especially the more you compare each version.
8Espeon ex (Special Art Rare) – $70.35
A Sparkling Crown
Most of Espeon’s most valuable cardshail from fantastic vintage sets, but this Eeveelution has seen a resurgence since the Sword & Shield era, as this card completes a trio of stunning Espeon cards, along with its Fusion Strike andEvolving Skies alternate arts.
Espeon’s strong value in Terastal Festival is impressive, but there’s still plenty of room for growth, especially considering the prices that the top cards in Terastal Festival are fetching.
7Jolteon (Master Ball Foil) – $71.97
A Shocking Placement
It’s rare to see Jolteon valued so highly among the most valuable Terastal Festival chase cards, as it isn’t typically a guarantee to be included among them. WhileJolteon’s most valuable cardsare still impressive, this Pokemon was completely omitted from Evolving Skies, the previous Eeveelution-themed set.
Despite a hiatus from the spotlight, Jolteon’s return offers an electrifying card to collect, though its SAR version still has some catching up to do.
6Leafeon ex (Special Art Rare) – $73.24
A Gleaming Green Scene
Leafeon leaps into the top spotswith one of its most eye-catching designs ever, boasting a beautifully verdant background that complements Leafeon’s lighter color palette.
The concentration on different shades of green in this scene is spectacular, as the colors aredarker around the border but lighter in the centerto give Leafeon the level of lighting and attention it deserves. Leafeon’s SAR is likely to remain one of the best cards in Terastal Festival ex for the foreseeable future.
5Sylveon (Master Ball Foil) – $89.15
Pink Perfection
Sylveon’s popularity teeters precariously near the top of the Eeveelution charts, but this Pokemon tends to perform better among its peers in Japanese than English. AlthoughSylveon’s Master Ball Foil isn’t its most valuable Terastal Festival chase card, this card is likely to remain among the top spots moving forward.
Furthermore, assuming the trend holds, this card’s Japanese version is a safer bet to maintain its value than its counterpart in Prismatic Evolutions.
4Espeon (Master Ball Foil) – $90.00
Making It Look Easy
Espeon debuted alongside its Dark-type kin, Umbreon, and while it’s clear which Pokemon is more popular,Espeon still stands tall with several top-tier cardsthat maintain impressive values in English and Japanese.
Given their rarity and appeal to set collectors, Master Ball Foils seem destined to remain among the best Terastal Festival chase cards, and Espeon offers one of the most vibrant and relaxing scenes to enjoy, contrasting the moment of controlled chaos we witnessed in Evolving Skies.
3Sylveon ex (Special Art Rare) – $129.62
Shining Bright And White
Sylveon’s consistency in the Pokemon TCG is impressive, asit seems to boast a new valuable cardwith each passing generation. From its fantastic Tag Team with Gardevoir in the Sun and Moon era to the stunning solo art in Sword & Shield’s Evolving Skies, Sylveon keeps its streak alive in Scarlet & Violet.
Sylveon captures a deservedly high placement, though Japan has shown its preference for Sylveon might not translate in English, as Glaceon outperforms its peer in Evolving Skies.
Wherever Sylveon’s price settles, its silky white coat and pink accents are the perfect pairing when surrounded by the swirling pink background.
