10Monkey.D.Dragon - Parallel
Super Rare - $88.60
Leader of the Revolutionary Army against the world government, father to Monkey D. Luffy, and one of the most enigmatic characters in the series, Monkey D. Dragon returns to the One Piece TCG with a new parallel super rare that gives him a unique look.
The mysterious pattern that appears as a tattoo on his face is repeated in the background art for this card, offering no insight into what it means but making for a very neat collector card. He looks incredibly imposing in his cloak and suit, making him a valuable card to collectors.
9Shanks - Parallel
Leader - $100.16
Power manipulation has always been Red’s specialty, andthe new Shanks leader carddoes it very well in OP-09. This version of him has a special ability that you may only activate when your opponent attacks.
When they do, you may choose to give one of their leader or character cards 1000 power for the turn. With all the support red decks have, there are plenty of ways you can put this to good use. The Parallel card features an up-close look at his face, scars and all.
8Marshall.D.Teach - Parallel
Leader - $106.47
With the powers of the Dark-Dark Fruit, Blackbeard is known for cancelling out powers in the One Piece universe, rending any strengths or benefits an attacker might have as useless in the face of his oppressive might.
This effect comes to the One Piece TCG with his latest leader card. All of your own On Play effects are negated, which is an interesting design space for the One Piece TCG going forward. You can also trash a card from your hand to shut down your opponent’s On Play effects until the end of their next turn, preventing them from using the triggers they want and giving you an advantage.
7Monkey.D.Luffy - Parallel
Leader - $114.88
You can never have enough Luffy in One Piece and with a new Leader card, Monkey.D.Luffy comes out with a bang. Featuring him in his Gear 5 form, with a smile on his face very similar to his iconic Nika-style laugh, this card sets you up for some strong plays.
With this Luffy leader card, anytime two or more DON!! cards are put back into your DON!! deck at the same time, you can take one card from your DON!! deck and set it as active, while also taking another card, and setting it as rested.
6Marshall.D.Teach - Wanted Poster
Super Rare - $129.61
Everyone in the One Piece world knows who Marshall D. Teach is, thanks to the wanted posters featuring his toothy grin all over the world. The series has been slowly building up the drama and mystique of this pirate villain, though it’s only a matter of time until he becomes the central villain of the show.
This version of Teach has the leader of the Blackbeard Pirates shut down one of your opponent’s Leader cards for the turn, as well as neutralizing an enemy character and preventing them from attacking until your next turn.
5Boa Hancock - Special
Super Rare - $139.01
One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, until their reign came to an end after the conclusion of the Wano arc, Boa Hancock returns to the One Piece game with a very thematic and flavorful card, one that pays close attention to the lore of the game.
All the hearts around Hancock make a bit more sense when you remember that she has the Mero Mero no Mi, or the Love-Love Fruit. In only a few seconds, you’ll be turned to stone thanks to her powers. Hancock’s powers don’t work on Luffy, which is why her card can’t target him.
4Nami - Special
Super Rare - $150.14
Master navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates, Nami joins the rankings of most valuable cards from OP-09 with this special super rare version of her character card.Featuring her in her outfit from the Egghead Island arc, she is seen with her Sorcery Clima-Tact weapon, and sentient homie who lives inside it, Zeus.
The colorful card is a great showcase piece for any collector, while also giving your decks a nice upgrade next time you head to a local event with it. If you’re a Nami stan, you don’t want to skip this card.
3Monkey.D.Luffy - Wanted Poster
Secret Rare - $158.17
Wanted Posters are a huge deal in One Piece and making special cards based on the characters from the series is such a flavorful addition to the game. While not new to the game, it is great to see them return to the game in Emperors In The New World.
This version of Luffy’s character card features him in his Gear 5 form, with his big, iconic grin front and center. While he might be wanted dead or alive, you’re going to want to keep this card safe to keep its value up if you open it.
2Marshall.D.Teach - Parallel
Super Rare - $968.24
One of the most reviled characters in One Piece, both by fans of the series and by characters in the universe, is Marshall D. Teach, better known as Blackbeard, one of the Four Emperors and a terror on the open seas.
The Parallel version of his character card from Emperors In The New World gives players another chase card to add to their collection, one that highlights some of his most devious plans. The scenes from the mangabehind him show off a little of his unique Devil Fruit, the Yami Yami no Mi, or the Dark-Dark Fruit.
1Monkey.D.Luffy - Parallel
Secret Rare - $1,300.00
Taking the top slot by a huge margin is the Parallel Secret Rare Monkey.D.Luffy purple character card. Cards like these are exceptionally rare, with the drop rate of these cards averaging out to being just one per three to four cases (though that number will vary from set to set).
The manga version of the Straw Hat Pirate features him using armament haki to reinforce his body, which is why his fist and arm are covered with a black sheen. In the background there are a few scenes from the manga, with some major moments highlighted that fans can check out.
