This isa card that is great for Energy accelerationwhile also putting your opponent in a time lock. Time Circle does 30 damage and prevents your Celebi from taking any damage from Evolved Pokemon during your opponent’s turn. So it speeds up the game for you and slows it down for your opponent.
9Machamp Prime $19.75
Punches That Knock You Senseless
Machamp has always been the king of fighterswith four arms to hit you with and a champion’s belt around the waist. With a glittering eye and a background made up of gold, this Machamp has heavy-hitting Moves that earn its title.
Crushing Punch will knock any Special Energy that your opponent’s Pokemon have while Champ Buster can do a maximum of 150 damage if your Benched Pokemon all have Damage Counters. With Machamp being able to draw Energy from the Bench, this one fights to protect its fellow Pokemon.
8Absol Prime $23.81
Absol may be a herald of bad luck in the Pokemon universe, but that doesn’t mean you can’t weaponize it. Absol Prime’s Eye of Disaster will weaken any Basic Pokemon that your opponent puts on the Bench directly from their hand.
Meanwhile, Vicious Claw requires you to give something up to get something back. In this case, you’ll need to send a Pokemon from your hand to the Lost Zone to do 70 damage to your opponent’s Pokemon. With gloomy card art and interesting Moves, it’s no wonder this is valuable.
7Palkia And Dialga Legend Bottom $38.70
Two Halves Of A Whole
This era of the Pokemon TCG also introduced a brand-new way to collect cards. Rather than pulling one valuable card and calling it a day, some printings require you to collect two cards that form a whole.
This card features the bottom half of Palkia and Dialga Legend. What is unique about this is that it has two types, two Weaknesses, and two Moves that take after the Pokemon they depict. Sudden Delete lets you bounce a Benched Pokemon back to the hand, while Time Control lets you add more cards to your opponent’s Prize card pool.
6Palkia And Dialga Legend Top $45.26
A Top To Every Bottom
If you’re looking for the top half of the Palkia and Dialga Legend card, then you will find that it is usually the more expensive of the two. This top half is mostly card art since the bottom half takes care of all the card text.
It features bothPalkia and Dialga locked in combatas pink and blue electricity surges through their bodies. If you’re going to store these cards, you must do so with both of them together in your binder full of rarities.
5Darkrai And Cresselia Legend Bottom $47.31
When Sweet Dreams And Nightmares Collide
Darkrai and Cresselia have always been Pokemon rivals due to their nature. Cresselia dispels the darkness while Darkrai gives people bad dreams. Cresselia’s Move, Moon’s Invite, lets you move all the Damage Counters from your Pokemon to your opponent’s Pokemon in any way that you like.
Meanwhile, Lost Crisis does 100 damage and sends any Pokemon that gets knocked out by the Move to the Lost Zone instead of the Discard Pile. This is a great way to cut off your opponent from Energy, Items, or Pre-evolutions.
4Mew Prime $52.81
The Missing Link
Mew has always been deeply entrenched in the Pokemon lore. It is said that all Pokemon get their DNA from it andthis valuable Mewlets you copy other Moves. Featuring a Mew zooming by, Mew Prime can use the Moves of Pokemon trapped in the Lost Zone.
You can set this up using any other card that sends Pokemon to the Lost Zone or Mew’s native Move. This is See Off, which allows you to search your deck for a Pokemon to put in there. It doesn’t matter if the Pokemon is a Basic or a Stage Two.
3Darkrai And Cresselia Legend Top $61.95
Complete The Set
Darkrai and Cresselia Legend’s upper half contains the art for Darkrai looming menacingly over Cresselia. Like many of the other Legend cards, the top half is mostly art, while the bottom half is mostly the text needed to use the Moves.
Because both cards are part of a set, their value tends to go up, since most players want them in good condition to show off together. With the power of Darkness and Psychic, it’s an interesting pair that normally doesn’t mix fighting as one in the Pokemon TCG.
2Alph Lithograph $80.00
A Card That Needs Translation
The Unown Alphabet is one of the most interesting details in the Pokemon games. These letters are composed of different Unown that come together to form words of power. In this case, the card design features the complete Alphabet in the art box.
This will help you decipher the bottom text which states that Alph Lithograph lets you look at all of your face down Prize cards. This is one of the oddest-looking cards in the Pokemon TCG due to its design, but that also makes it valuable.
1Gengar Prime $100.13
When Ghosts Rise
The most valuable card in the Heart Gold and Soul Silver: Triumphant set is Gengar Prime. This card features a Gengar with its tongue sticking out, ready for some mischief. Its Poke Body will ensure that any of your opponent’s Pokemon get sent to the Lost Zone when they get knocked out.
Hurl Into Darkness is an overpowered Move. For only one Energy, you can look at your opponent’s hand and send a Pokemon you find there directly to the Lost Zone. This Move gets stronger with each Psychic Energy that Gengar has. This alone makes ita valuable and powerful Gengar.
