While he was first shown at the start of the Penacony arc, players had to wait until Version 2.7 to get his playable version.
Sunday is a five-star Imaginary Harmony unit that excels at advancing the turn for one character. If you build him properly, this character can single-handedly show a significant difference in the damage numbers of your main DPS.
Best Sunday Relics And Planar Ornaments
The first step of building any character is choosing the right set bonuses on their relics and planar ornaments, and here are the best ones for Sunday:
Relics
Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal
This is the best relic set for Sunday as it enhances the Crit DMG boost he provides by a massive 36 percent as long as youconsistently use your Skill on the same ally.
Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
As a second option until you have the above set, you may try Messenger Traversing Hackerspace on Sunday for the increased SPD and team-wide buff upon using the Ultimate.
Planar Ornaments
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
This is the best ornament set for Sunday as it can help him give an ATK bonus to the main DPS alongside all the other buffs he provides. However,you have to make sure that your DPS is in the first slotof the team.
Broken Keel
Broken Keel is another great set for Sunday as it can enhance his Crit DMG buff and alsorequires you to have some Effect RES, which can prevent him from getting crowd-controlled.
Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation
Finally, while not as good, you can also try the Sigonia set in endgame modes like Pure Fiction since his increasedCrit DMG will also increase the buff he provides.
Sunday Relic Stat Priority
Getting the perfect relic stats on Sunday can both be easy and difficult depending on your luck since he only needs a few specific stats:
Energy Regeneration Rate
Crit DMG > SPD > Effect RES > HP/DEF
Ideally, you’d want to either have an extremely high SPD on Sunday orjust lower than your main DPS, more on this below.

Light Cones are essentially the weapons for characters in Honkai: Star Rail, and it’s essential to choose the option that synergizes well with the character:
A Grounded Ascent
As you’d expect, Sunday’s signature Light Cone serves as the best choice for him as it gives him some necessary Energy Regen while alsoincreasing the DMG of the main DPS by up to 45 percent.
Since Sunday is skill-point-negative, this cone also helps that byproviding a free point for every two Skill or Ultimate usage.
But The Battle Isn’t Over
Bronya’s signature Light Cone is a close second for this character as it does almost everything similarlyexcept for the 30 percent DMG bonus instead of 45. The SP also regenerates slower with this one.
Earthly Escapade
Finally, this Light Cone can also be used on Sunday as you can easily maintain the Mask effect since he consistently regenerates Skill Pointswhen his Skill is applied on a Beatified ally.
Past And Future
This Light Cone will simply give yourmain DPS a 32 percent DMG boostwhenever Sunday advances their movement forward.
Planetary Rendezvous
If you’re using Sunday with another Imaginary DPS likeDr. Ratio or Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae, you can use this Light Cone to get an added bonus.
Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds
Finally, this Light Cone is good for almost every Harmony character since it simplyprovides one buff at randomwhenever the equipped character gets a turn.
Sunday Skill Overview And Priority
Thankfully, Sunday is a fairly easy character to understand, and here’s what you need to know about him:
Essentially, you’d never use Sunday’s basic attack so you can ignore that talent. Apart from that, you’dwant to upgrade his talents in the following order: Skill - Ultimate - Talent. You can also unlock the bonus abilities and side nodes as soon as possible.
