Summary

Solo Gods inSmite 2usually have the job of taking care of the right lane. They have Jungle on one sides, and likelyone God playingopposite of them. Seeing Junglers from either team jump in is going to be a fairly regular occurrence, and Solo Gods have to be able to do what it sounds like: hold their own.

That usually means Solo Gods are going to be better, the more things they’re capable of doing. There’s no telling what God they’re going to be playing against on the other side, meaning the more options they have, the better chance they can set themselves up for success.

7Sobek

The God Of The Nile

Sobek is one of the strongest Gods in Smite 2, capable of fulfilling both the Support role and the Solo role. Sobek can do a little bit of everything, able to tank with the increased protection they get from their passive, and heal themselves with two different abilities.

Sobek also has a lot of movement potential, with two different abilities that can get them into a location they want to be, or out of a location they don’t want to be. As a Solo, it’s always possible you’re going to get flanked by a Jungler, and being able to get out of danger quickly is going to save your life often.

6Ra

The Sun God

Ra is an extremely versatile God, and can fill the Solo or Middle role fairly easily. To begin with, Ra has an abundance of movement speed, gaining a buff to it with each use of an ability. This stacks up to three times, making for 15 percent buff overall, lasting 15 seconds.

Ra can also deal a lot of area-of-effect (AoE) damage. All of his abilities focus on damaging enemies in a certain area, while bringing other effects alongside them. Ra can also grant himself (and any allies that happen to be nearby) with Protection buffs, alongside the ability to heal himself.

5Bellona

The Goddess Of War

Bellona has one of the most unique Basic Attack systems in Smite 2, with three different Basic Attack options. Your Basic Attack is going to change based on what the most recent ability you used was, with each Basic Attack having its own effects that come along with it.

Bellona’s Hammer gives her extra Strength, her Sword and Shield gives her extra Protection, and her Scourge grants her bonus Attack Speed. On top of that, the abilities grant these weapons extra effects; for example, the Scourge ability grants Bellona Lifesteal with hits.

4Cabrakan

The Destroyer Of Mountains

Cabrakan isone of the God’sthat’s the most difficult to put down, and much of that is due to his passive ability to mitigate incoming damage, and increasing outgoing damage, to all enemies attacking him. This effect does extend to nearby allies, though for the most part, in the Solo role, there isn’t going to be anybody near.

Cabrakan is going to be a very up-close-and-personal style Solo God, and if your opponent is a ranged character, this can pose a particular problem for them. Cabrakan can also fairly easily increase his movement and attack speed, making it easy for him to close that gap.

3Chaac

The God Of Rain

Chaac is a fairly easy character to use, making him a very good choice for players new to the game. In general, Chaac is focused around regular and consistent use of his abilities. His passive ability, Overflow, will give an ability used after five Basic Attacks a free casting cost, lower cooldown, and will enable it to heal you.

Chaac has a second ability that heals him in Rain Dance, which creates a field that slows and reduces an enemy’s attack speed, while healing you. Thunder Strike and Torrent work perfectly in succession, and his greatest strength lies in his ability to cast a seemingly never-ending onslaught of abilities between attacks.

2Hercules

The Champion Of Rome

Hercules is a very strong melee God, and grows stronger when attacked by enemy Gods. Being attacked increases his Strength considerably, and stacked high enough, it lowers his cooldowns on his abilities. This rewards staying involved in the fight, which is going to be made a lot easier when making smart use of his abilities.

Hercules' Mitigate Wounds ability is the primary way he’s going to be able to sustain himself during fights, healing him immediately upon casting, and then healing a certain percentage of his damage taken inside of the following four seconds.

1Hades

The King Of The Underworld

Hades has a ranged Basic Attack, and abilities that all revolve around him blighting enemies with his Basic Attacks and abilities. Using his abilities on an enemy that’s already been blighted will give it an extra effect, and most of the abilities are going to be very good with that extra effect, and slightly lackluster without it.

Some of the effects can make a substantial difference, with effects ranging from slowing enemies or causing them to become afraid. The most useful of these, Devour Souls, detonates enemies that are blighted, dealing damage to them and healing you (and any nearby allies).
