Soon after you started playingGenshin Impact’sstory, you were told that Archons are one of the most powerful beings in the world of Teyvat. There are a total of seven regions, and each region has its Archon that you get as a playable character when you visit the region.

The sixth region you visit in the main story is called Natlan, and it’s ruled by the Pyro Archon, Mavuika. She’s the only human Archon among the seven, and you have to build her properly to get the most value from her kit once you pull her.

Best Mavuika Weapons

Weapons are an integral part of any character’s kit in Genshin Impact as it not only gives them extra stats like ATK and Crit, but alsoprovides them with an important passive effect that boosts their effectiveness. For Mavuika, here are the best weapon choices:

A Thousand Blazing Suns

Five-Star

Mavuika’s signature weapon is undoubtedly her best as it gives herextra Crit DMG and ATK apart from the Crit Rateas the secondary stat whenever her Skill or Burst is used. This effect gets increased duration with her buffed attacks.

The buff is also increased by 75 percentwhen she’s in the Nightsoul Blessing state.

Beacon of the Reed Sea

While this weapon isn’t fully utilized by Mavuika, it’s still her second best as itincreases her ATK when you hit an enemy with her Elemental Skillor take damage. You also get a whopping 33.1 percent Crit Rate.

Fang of the Mountain King

This weapon can also be a decent choice for Mavuika, but the only issue is that you’ll need aDendro party member or enemy to trigger the Burning or Burgeonand take its full effect.

Serpent Spine

Four-Star

If you’re planning to play Mavuika on-field, this weapon is theperfect four-star choice as it consistently increases her DMG. However, you may’t take damage while using it so you’ll need a shielder on the team.

Blackcliff Slasher

Lastly, for F2P players, this weapon is your best choicefor the extra Crit DMG and ATKwhenever you defeat enemies.

Best Mavuika Artifacts

Once you progress a decent bit in the game, you’ll have to start the main grind called the artifact grind, which essentially lasts a lifetime. Each new character has a couple of artifact sets they can use, but even after getting the pieces from that set, you’ll need specific stats on them to make them usable.

Here aresome of the best sets for Mavuikabased on their two-piece and four-piece bonuses:

Genshin Impact Mavuika standing beside her bike.

Obsidian Codex

Apart from increasing your DMG in the Nightsoul Blessing state, this set alsogives Mavuika a whopping 40 percent Crit Rate, making her artifact grind a lot easier.

Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City

If you’re using Mavuika as an off-field support, you can use this set togain some extra Energy and overall team damagefrom this set.

Crimson Witch of Flames

If you’re relatively early in the game still, you can use this set to increase the overall Pyro DMG for Mavuika andall the reactions triggered by her.

Gladiator’s Finale

Finally, if you don’t have any of the above sets, you can also use Gladiator’s Finale as it increases her damage quite significantlywhen she’s played on-field.

Crit DMG/Crit Rate

Crit Rate/Crit DMG > ATK Percent

You’d only want to use Crit Rate as the main stat on the Circletif you’re not using the Obsidian Codex set.

Best Mavuika Team Compositions

Genshin Impact allows you to have up tofour characters in the same team, and most units in the game are fairly useless without their proper team synergies. While Mavuika can still deal significant damage without her team members, this damage gets a monumental buff with the right ones:

Mavuika

Main DPS

In this team, Mavuika essentially triggers her Skill and then goes off-field to let other characters apply their abilities. In the end,she comes back to use her Burstand deal massive damage.

Furina

Sub-DPS

Furina can not only apply consistent Hydro to the enemies for Vaporize with Mavuika, butalso increase the latter’s damage with her Burst.

Kaedehara Kazuha

Buffer

Kazuha is one of the best supports in the game as heshreds the opponents' RES while also buffing his party members’damage.

Xilonen

Buffer/Sustainer

Xilonen can applysimilar buffs as Kazuhawhile also being a sustainer and consistently healing her party members.

After you use Mavuika’s Skill in this team, you’d want to switch to Xilonen and Kazuha first soyou can trigger their reactions with Pyro.

This is important to get the buffs on the right element.

In this team, Mavuika will stayoff-field to deal regular Pyro DMG once her Skill is activatedas long as she’s not in the buffed state with her Burst.

Kinich

Kinich will take the main spotlight by dealing consistent Dendro DMG with his Skill ashe gets consistent Pyro application.

Zhongli

Sustainer/Support

Zhongli will not only prevent your team from taking damage, but alsoshred the enemy’s RES to surrounding elementswhen he’s nearby.

Bennett

Finally, Bennett’s field can significantlybuff the damage dealt by both Kinich and Mavuika.

These two characters will essentially share the battlefield in this team as they can both deal damage on and off-field. When Raiden’s Burst is active,Mavuika can stay off-field and vice-versa.

Unfortunately, theenergy increase from Raidenwon’t affect Mavuika since her Burst gets activated with Fighting Spirit and not elemental energy.

Chevreuse

Reaction Driver

Chevreuse is an integral part of this team as she cansignificantly buff the damage with overload reaction.

Zhongli/Bennett

Support/Sustainer

Finally, you may use either of these characters to both keep the team alive andincrease their damage wherever it’s needed.

Mavuika Talent Priority

If you’ve been playing Genshin Impact for a while, you’re likely already used to the fact that every character has three main talents that you may upgrade: Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst. For Mavuika, the order for upgrading these talents depends on how you plan to use her.

For example, if you’re planning to keep her as an off-field Pyro applicator, you’d want to go for her Skill followed by the Burst. It’d bethe reverse if she’s going to be the main DPS of your team. you may ignore her Normal Attack in both playstyles since she won’t be dealing any damage from it.
