If you have been opening your daily booster packs inPokemon Pocket, then you know that this game, aside from allowing you to play against other trainers as well as NPCs, is all about collecting cards. Whether you want the shiny, pretty holocards, or you want to make a deck to sweep opponents, you gotta get those Pokemon.
But once you have them or finally pull your favorite card from the hundreds in the game, you may want to display it. Why not? This list will go over some of the best display boards in the game to show off your stuff.
10Venusaur Display Board
Look At How They Tried My Boy
Fans of the first Pokemon (as far as the Pokedex goes anyway) may be upset to seethe Venusaur display boardholding a lower spot on the display board totem pole, but the art style and color palette can make it hard to match the card you most want to display.
Now, granted, you can always pop one of the grass starters in there and still follow a theme, or any of the members of the Pidgey family. But if you want to show off some of the other star-quality cards, then this may not be the board you want to pick. To each their own, of course.
9Pink Desk Display Board
Lofi Hip Hop Display Boards To Collect To
The Pink Desk display board sets up a cute and cozy scene with a coffee and an open notebook in the foreground, making it look like the card could be proudly displayed in a Pokemon fan’s room. But it runs into the same problem as the Venusaur one. It just might not fit your style.
It could be that you don’t feel attached at all to the bedroom that the game depicts. Or your card could have a distinct lack of pink in it. Either way, it’s a wonderful option open to fans that captures a slice-of-life feeling and makes any of your card selections feel as those it’s just your favorite card you would keep on your desk, or anywhere else you’d love to sit at and gaze upon.
Many of the display boards you either have to purchase through some means or earn through events and missions.
8Gardevoir Display Board
A Swirl Of Psychic-Themed Colors
Look, everyone knowshow popular Gardevoir is. And this isn’t a hot take because “Erm, actually, Gardevoir is overrated.” She is a queen who graces the grass she stands on. This is another board that has a very distinct look and you may find yourself limited in your card choices because of it.
Now, any of the Psychic-type cards would look nice in the center of this very dynamic display board. Just as any member of the Gardevoir evolutionary line. So this is far from an unusable option. It’s a fun one to open and plop your cards in to see what you think works the best.
7Sleek Frame Display Board
Old Reliable
This is a free option you start the game with and it is beautiful in how simplistic it is. The backdrop makes it so that any card would look natural sitting inside the very clean and, yes, sleek, case. Nothing looks odd or out of place when set inside the frame.
While this is maybe the most versatile option, it wouldn’t win any competitions for being the most unique. But it’s a good way to still display your cards as you come across them without, one, needing to buy anything at all. And two, having it always look good.
This display board, and the Eevee one, are the two free options that are available to everyone, no matter if they intend to use real money to purchase cosmetics or not.
6Winter Holiday Display Board
Works Around A Certain Time
Now this display board is beautiful! All the details pay tribute to some of the most popular Pokemon, especially around the holidays.Ornaments of Pikachu, Dragonite, and Delibird all match the idea of gift giving, no matter the time of year.
However, just as the title of this display board says, it’s perfect for the holidays. After that, you may want to ditch the very situational display board for something that can match not just any card but any time of year. But if you wish the holidays would last the full length of the year, then this board was made for you.
5Snow Crystals
It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Winter
Not to the extreme of the Winter Holiday display board, but the Snow Crystals one also matches a certain season. However, on the flip side, any Ice-type and even Water-type Pokemon can make their home in this frame without much worry at all.
It also has a border of snowflakes that slightly cover the card you choose to put into the middle of it, giving a lot of definition despite the design being one that, if not done well, could have looked very flat or 2D in comparison to these beautiful cards you can shift and move depending on where you choose to look at them.
4Natural Foilage Display Board
Yes, The Vines Do Match The Leaves
Of course, it’s easy to say you could just throw a Grass-type Pokemon into this display board and call it good. But the design of this display board works well with any of the cards you could place in the middle of it.
Similar to the Snow Crystals board, the vines begin to cover some of the images to give that separation of background and foreground. It also is about as versatile as the Sleek Frame design thanks to the colors chosen and how the card is displayed.
3Eevee Display Board
Just Some Family Bonding
This is a fun display board featuring not just Eevee, one of the most popular Pokemon in the franchise, but also a number of their evolutions in a field featuring trees and a water feature. As is, it’s just a beautiful display board.
But when it comes to picking which cards you place inside, this works so well with any Pokemon that also finds themselves in a similar setting. Not to mention otherColorless Pokemon, Water, Fire, and Electric thanks to Eevee themselves, Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon.
2Pikachu Display Board
The Mascot Knows How To Show Things Off
Fans can easily suffer Pikachu burnout. They are the main mascot and appear everywhere in every game and type of media that Pokemon Company explores. But this board is adorable as not only is the art style very endearing but even some of the Pikachu point at the card you have displayed and gather around it like they are excited.
1Meowth Display Board
My Pretties
When it comes to versatility, this card is the gold standard. And not just because of the gold coins. This Meowth is posed behind a treasure chest and the treasure? It’s your card! It makes it look as if your card jumped out from the chest, showing itself off for any of your friends or other players who see it.
It’s also a very fun choice in which display board you’d like to use thanks to Meowth’s happy expression. And, in addition, it makes any Pokemon you decide to show off to be met with a fun-loving smile, elevating the values by showing off your excitement. Or at least Meowth’s.
