Yu-Gi-Oh! TCGgets plenty of reprint sets that bring back some of the most memorable and useful cards. S:P Little Knight was first introduced in Age of Overlordand since then it has been one of the best generic Extra Deck tools. If you can get at least two monsters on the board, then you have enough to bring this out from your Extra Deck.
Aside from being able to break boards, this card is useful for evading targeting effects by banishing cards for the turn and returning once the danger is gone. Quarter Century Bonanza gives this card a decent rarity bump for those who like to make their deck sparkle.
7Promethean Princess
The Perfect Extender
Quarter Century Bonanza gives players easier access to Promethean Princess. This card is one of the best Fire monsters to Link Summon, since it can bring other monsters back from the graveyard but also itself.
Promethean Princess can also come back from the graveyard while destroying cards from the field. This can be used as a way to break your opponent’s boards, perform interruptions, and even destroy your own Fire monsters that have effects on destruction. This card is also excellent for Link climbing into bigger Link monsters.
6Thunder Dragon Colossus
Stops Your Opponent’s Searches
Thunder Dragon Colossus is a fantastic floodgate when all of the best decks have ways of getting the cards they need straight from the deck. This card is essentially Droll on legs, since having it out means your opponent can no longer search cards out.
This will immediately cut off your opponent from one of the most useful methods of getting their plays in. Thunder Dragon Colossus also has built-in protection from destruction as long as you have Thunder monsters in the grave to banish.
5Triple Tactics Thrust
A Chase Card Made Easier To Collect
Triple Tactics Thrust has seen a few reprints sinceit first appeared in Photon Hypernova. Almost every deck that wants to win has at least two copies of this card. This is because it is a searcher for any Normal Spell or Trap in your deck.
This is a very flexible card, since being able to activate it means searching out a copy of Raigeki, Harpie’s Feather Duster, or Evenly Matched. Triple Tactics Thrust becomes whatever you need it to be, whether you’re trying to board break or get your own combos going.
4Clockwork Night
Turning Everything Into Machines
Clockwork Night is a powerful floodgate that sees play in combination with the Cyber Dragons. This is a Continuous Spell that turns every face-up monster on the field into Machines. While this may sound insignificant on paper, it has plenty of uses in practice.
Many decks will specify that their effects can be activated when a certain type is on the field or will require them as material. This can be anything from Zombies to Pyros. However, if that monster suddenly finds itself as a Machine, it simply becomes an invalid material or target.
3That Grass Looks Greener
A One Card Graveyard Setter
That Grass Looks Greener was originally banned for being an excellent method of sending cards to your graveyard. Just run three in a 60 card deck, and you have the potential to send 20 cards to your grave so that you and your opponent are just playing with 40 card decks.
Even just one copy of this card can do plenty of damage in a format where the person who goes first will likely use plenty of cards from their deck, making it significantly smaller. So, on a second turn, this card will let you set up your graveyard the longer their combo goes.
2Heat Wave
A Powerful Tool For Going Second Decks
Heat Wave is a fun card if you’re trying to run a going second deck. Most players will attempt to go first to set up their negates. However, if your deck revolves around breaking boards, going second is much better.
However, if your opponent catches on to your schemes, they may try to force you to go first. This iswhere you side in Heat Wave. You won’t be able to Normal or Special Summon after using this card, but neither will your opponent. Just Heat Wave and pass. You’ll be able to kill your opponent on turn three.
1Diabellstar The Black Witch
Sinful Spoils Made Easy
Diabellstar The Black Witch is one of the best cards in Age of Overlord and, thanks to the multiple rarities of prints in Quarter Century Bonanza, it has never been more accessible.
Aside from being a powerful tool for the Sinful Spoils engine, this is also an excellent level seven monster for your decks that want to go into them. It can easily get itself on the field while sending cards to the graveyard as well as fetching your Sinful Spoils Spells and Traps from the deck.
