Building custom rollercoasters inPlanet Coaster 2isn’t the easiest process. While the new build ui does make it far more intuitive to place and adjust pieces, it doesn’t help with understanding G-Force, and how to build a coaster that is fun but won’t make all your guests sick.

Fortunately, the game also has a range of blueprints available. Unfortunately, career goals require rides with specific excitement, fear or nausea ratings, or more annoyingly, set out criteria based on track length, speed, or biggest drop. So, we’ve collected together all the essential stats you may need to know about every pre-built rollercoaster blueprint in Planet Coaster 2.

All rollercoaster sizes are based on a standard path grid and include the two longest measurements for length and width. Measurements are approximate as most blueprints will not take up the entire area due to variations in shape.

Chainlift Rollercoasters

Chainlift coasters allow the trains to belifted up hills via chainlifts. They are some of thecheapest coasters tobuild and areunlockedearlyin the game.Different types of chainlift coaster have features such asloops, rolls, inversions, helixes, and tight corners. You’ll also find common train variants, includingmine trains, floorless, and standingcarriages.

Basic Stats For Chainlift Coasters

This table contains all the basic stats for the chainlift coaster blueprints includingcost, default prestige rating, and size,as well as the core stats ofexcitement, fear, and nausea.

Launched And Alternate Lift Coasters

Launched Coasters areboosted by hydraulics or electromagnets. This means longer platforms, but coasters can be boosted vertically, adding new ways to build. Some can invert, while others can’t.This category also includesa couple of hybridswhich have hydraulics and chain lifts.

The Alternate Lift Coasters category has some cross over with the above, but mostlyfocuses on more unique lift methods, such asfriction wheel lifts and drive tyre lifts. This category includes adiverse range of coasters, from junior coasters to incredibly flexible circuit coasters.

Wooden, Suspended, And Wing Coasters

Wooden Coasters are traditionally designed andoffer a rough and wild ride, reminiscent of days gone by. The hybrid designs allow forwooden frames to be combined with more modern steel rails.

Suspended Coasters have the tracks running above the trains, meaningnarrower tracks with twisting and snaking runs. Most of these designs arecable lifts, while one uses induction motors which allow a coaster to boost its natural momentum.

Wing Coasters havewide floorless cars, with the outerseats hanging over the tracks. They are often full of inversions and can bank steeply.

Water And Special Coasters

Water Coasters includelog flume style coastersas well as some withsplashdown areasthat have metal tracks and cars. These coasters aregenerally slower and cannot invert. They are alsosuitable for all ages, unlike many of the larger coasters.

Special coasters are arange of more niche coasterswhich you’ll mostlyunlock late on.They includespinning coaster cars,a mine train withswaying cars, and one where the cars can move independently of the chassis.
