Summary
Stardew Valleymight be almost nine years old, but creator ConcernedApe is still soldiering along with updates and patches for dedicated players. He released Patch 1.6 earlier this year, which added a bunch of new stuff like festivals and farm types, before moving onto his next project, Haunted Chocolatier.
It looks as though Concerned Ape still had a bit of clean up to do with Stardew Valley first though,as he recently announced that Patch 1.6.15 is now live on PC and mobile, including iOS and Android. For all you console players, you will have to wait until Stardew Valley patches start to sync up with PC patch releases, which means you’ll be waiting until later for the patch yourselves.
Stardew Valley 1.6.15 Has Released On PC And Mobile
Before you quickly dive into the patch notes to see what’s changed, it’s worth noting that this is nowhere near the same size as the previous patch. It mostly just includes a lot of quality of life improvement and gameplay fixes, but it’s still a welcome patch that may solve one or two problems you have recently had.
For example, the quality of life changes include the addition of the Junimo bundle button to the fridge and mini fridge UI, debris can no longer spread underneath your crops, and legendary fish ponds will now produce as much more roe at a higher average daily value.
A lot of fixes are also present, including achievements not popping when they should, more randomization for certain things, and a lot of situations that previously caused crashes no longer will. ConcernedApe also notes that certain high-profile bugs, such as the raccoon shop bug and divorce crashes, are console specific, and will be included in the console patch notes whenever they drop. You just need to hang on a little bit longer.
