The last 12 months have been busy forSonic the HedgehogFunko Pop collectors, and it seems there might be more to come before the end of the year, or in early 2025 at the latest. The next five Sonic Funko Pop designs have been revealed, and the next batch will includea Funko debut for Big the Cat.
The first images of the next five Sonic Funko Pops were shared byRockOsirisand, as noted, one of them is a Big the Cat figure. A fan-favorite character since his introduction inSonic Adventure, Big’s Pop has the cat sitting down with a fishing rod in his hands. Best of all, his best buddy Froggy has been incorporated into the Pop’s design and is sitting on top of Funko Big’s head.
The other Sonic character making their Funko Pop debut via this next batch, which should be available to buy through multiple retailers starting on Wednesday,is Omega. Fitting that Omega’s Pop has been revealed days before Sonic 3 hits cinemas since the powerful, Eggman-made robot was created to guard Shadow while in stasis. There’s a very real chance Omega will be a part of the film.

The other three Pops aren’t debuting characters but will be just as sought-after nonetheless. Particularlythe upcoming Super Sonic Pop, not only because it will be a flocked Target exclusive, but also because its design has Super Sonic rising up with all seven Chaos Emeralds around him. One of the most unique Sonic Pop designs we’ve seen so far, and much like Omega, perhaps an indicator of something we might see in Sonic 3 this weekend.
Treasure Hunter Knucklesis perhaps the most surprising inclusion in this round of Sonic Pops. Knuckles has already been the subject of a unique Funko Pop this yearas Metal Knuckles, a pretty deep cut when it comes to characters from the Sonic universe, was an NYCC exclusive. Treasure Hunter Knuckles is arguably an even deeper cut as the only two games in which the echidna wears the outfit are Sonic Forces on mobile and Sonic Speed Simulator.
Last but most certainly not least is Rouge. The batmade her Funko Pop debutearlier this year and is already back for round two. The key difference here is even though Rouge’s Pops have very similar designs, this will be the first time a Rouge figure can be bought separately. Rouge’s debut was as part of a two-pack alongside a new Knuckles figure. That is not the case this time.
