Blastoise, Pikachu, And Moltres Headline Mythical Island’s First Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Promos

Shared onRedditby useritsprimo, nine brand-new Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket promos have been revealed. They are as follows:

While six of the cards are fairly standard promos (although the Squirtle is incredibly cute), the Pikachu, Blastoise, and Moltres are likely to be highly sought after.

The Moltres is a variation on the standard Moltres ex card that’s currently in rotation and a mainstay inCharizard-centric decks. The Blastoise features some of, in my opinion, the best artwork so far, with the Pokemon sitting below deck on a ship. But it’s the new Pikachu that’s likely to be the one that has fans clamoring.

Front and center of the card is, of course, Pikachu, but the series mascot is surrounded by the three Kanto starters, Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur, with an Eevee thrown in for good measure. It’s a nostalgia-fuelled card that’s going to be super popular.

Based on the logos, we can predict how seven of the promos are likely to be released. The Charmander and Squirtle have theChansey Pick logo, so they willprobablybe released as part of aWonder Pickevent, while the Blastoise, Eevee, Snivy, Volcarona, and Cinccino all have the logo previously seen inSolo Battle Events, so these will probably be released there. That just leaves the Pikachu and Moltres ex cards unaccounted for.

This is the third time that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket has seen its promo cards datamined, with thePremium Pass Mewtwoand theVenusaur Battle Event cardsall leaking previously.
