Summary
Pokemon TCG Pocketgot its worldwide rollout on Jul 13, 2025, and after a huge launch, the latest Pokemon mobile game has continued to go from strength to strength. Not only did Pocket earn significantly more during its second week than it did during its first, but to date, less than three weeks on from its release, the mobile game has generated more than $120 millionin revenue for The Pokemon Company.
The breakdown of Pokemon Pocket’s first three weeks comes viaPocketGamer.bizwhich has used AppMagic estimates to establish how well the game has been performing so far. According to those estimates,it took just 17 days for Pocket players to collectively spend $100 million in-game. That number has naturally continued to grow, and as of the latest figures on November 17,Pocket spending had generated $120.8 million.
That’s just shy of $6.5 million per day, and that’s not even the best news of all for those responsible for the card-collecting game’s creation. You might have thought spending would have already started to drop off as casual players lose interest, but the statistics confirm quite the contrary. Pocket’s week one numbers were eclipsed by the money it brought in during week two, generating $48.5 million in its second weekcompared to $35.8 million during its first seven days.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Has Already Generated More Than $120 Million
Pokemon Used Giga Drain On My Bank Account, It Was Super Effective
With $37.2 million spent during the first five days of week three, it has already outdone Pocket’s first week and is on track to set another record once the numbers have been updated. Even with more casual Pokemon fans potentially losing interest, that might be unsurprising as those who cashed in on the game’s Premium Pass free trial will have been forced to spend money on the game, maybe for the first time, if they want to keep getting that extra pack per day.
Despite Pocket’s hugely successful start to life, it is still, somewhat predictably, lagging behind wherePokemon Gowas revenue-wise after its first 19 days. Probably not as much as you might think, though. Pokemon Go generated $138.8 million during its first 19 days soPocket is only $18 million behind The Pokemon Company’s greatest mobile success. Pokemon Masters, the mobile game that previously occupied second place had made $26.4 million in its first 19 days which, in its defense, is more than I’d have expected.
Whether The Pokemon Company can keep this momentum going beyond three weeks is yet to be seen. There’s already evidence thatplayers are starting to get boreddue to Pocket’s “slow progression”. New booster packs are coming,as is limited trading, and while people are claiming they’re getting bored of the app, the money it has brought in so far would suggest otherwise.
