Summary
Between Comfy Friends, Squishmallows, Sitting Cuties, and more, there are a lot ofPokemonplushes to keep track of. There’s even a plush collection dedicated to sleeping Pokemon and almost three months after it was initially revealed, the adorable dozing Rockruff has finally been added to the range.
Although sleeping Pokemon plushes have been around longer thanPokemon Sleep, the app’s long-awaited arrival has naturally made them more popular. There was even a hotel in Japan wherePokemon fans could stay for a Sleep-themed experiencewhich included being surrounded by some of Pokemon’s sleeping plushes, making you feel like Snorlax does in the game.
Rockruff wasn’t among them, but it might be if the bespoke Pokemon Sleep experience returns in 2025. Even thoughthe puppy Pokemon’s sleeping plush was revealed in August, it’s only just become available to buy. In Pokemon’s defense, despite the long wait between reveal and release, sleeping Rockruff was always promised to be here in the fall and well, it’s still technically fall, and Rockruff is officially here.
Rockruff’s Sleeping Pokemon Plush Is Finally Available To Buy
Just In Time To Be A Holiday Gift From Me To Me
The sleeping Rockruff plush is available to buy at Walmart through the link in the box below, and even though Pokemon’s sleeping plushes tend to be a tad bigger than regular ones, it’s not that much more expensive. Rockruff is $29.97 which is the same price asPokemon’s Squishmallows at the Pokemon Centereven though the new release is six inches bigger than the 12-inch standard for Pokemon Center Squishmallows.
Rockruff Sleeping Pokemon Plush
Rockruff has joined Pokemon’s sleeping plush range. The toy measures 18 inches long and depicts the Rock-type puppy Pokemon while it’s asleep, lying on its side while it dreams of chasing Meowth and Litten.
Pokemon’s sleeping plushes aren’t unique in design alone. They’re also one of the few plush types that aren’t typically available through the Pokemon Center. You usually have to track them down at Target or, as is the case for the new Rockruff plush, Walmart. All three of Kanto’s partner Pokemon have sleeping plushesavailable at Walmart right now alongside Pikachu and Teddiursa, whereas all of the sleeping options - other than Pikachu - at the Pokemon Center are sold out.
That includes Cubone who may well have the honor of being the most popular sleeping plush so far.Cubone’s sleeping plush designis unique as the Ground-type has a single tear embroidered into the corner of its eye. For those unfamiliar with Cubone’s lore, the tear is there as Cubone is dreaming about its late mother. Heartbreaking, and best not to think about it too much. Just buy one whenever it’s back in stock and hug it as tight as you can.
