Pokemon And Their Regional Variants Have Been Turned Into Magnetic Plushes

Different varieties ofPokemonplushes are even harder to keep track of than Pokemon themselves, even though there are now more than 1,000 of them. With everything fromSquishmallowsto Sitting Cuties to choose from, Pokemon has now revealed a new type of plush coming our way. Magnetic plush keychains that come in pairs, each set including a regular Pokemon and its regional variant.

Pokmeon’s magnetic plush pairs are so new that they don’t even have a name yet, at least not one that has been officially revealed.PokeJungleshared info about the new plushes, which are technically keychains but look like they’re pretty big, noting that they will be part of a larger range that will feature Pokemon playing and hanging around with their variants from other regions.

While the initial post from PokeJungle didn’t include images of the plush pairings, it has since shared a video not only showing what they look like but demonstrating how they work. There are magnets sewn into each of the plushes so that they can be attached to one another, turning your two adorable plushes into one and, even though they look alike, putting Pokemon side by side that you wouldn’t normally see together since they hail from completely different parts of its fictional world.

Raichu And Alolan Raichu Together Forever

There appear to be six pairs of Pokemon included in the collection, all of which are Pokemon with different versions from other regions. There’s a regular Raichu paired up with its Alolan form, a Zigzagoon that can cuddle up with a Galarian Zigzagoon, and a Zorua that comes with a Hisuian Zorua.

Even though the plushes will take center stage in the collection, as is often the case when it comes to Pokemon, there’s a lot more to this still-unnamed collection, and Zorua, along with Hisuian Zorua, is heavily featured. The two of them also have matching mugs, and can also be found butting heads on a sweatshirt.

The only downside about the new range is that, for now at least, it only appears to be getting a Japanese release. The plushes and everything else in the range will be available through the Japanese Pokemon Center starting on June 27, 2025. It’s never guaranteed Pokemon merch exclusively available in Japan will make its way to the US, but there’s always a chance. There will be ways to get it shipped over if you want it badly enough, of course. It will just cost a lot more than it would if bought from the US Pokemon Center due to shipping.
