Quick Links One of the most recognizable characters in theDragon Ageseries is Varric. This is because, unlike others, he actually appears in most of the games, as he features in Dragon Age 2, Inquisition, and The Veilguard. During those appearances, fans have come to learn a lot about the wise-cracking dwarf. He writes books, sometimes wears a fancy jacket, and his preferred weapon is a crossbow that he calls Bianca. When someone has given their weapon such a basic name, it’s only natural for people to be interested in the reasoning behind it....

When I first playedCairnat Tokyo Game Showearlier this year, I experienced a buggy, janky version while standing in front of a large television in a booth off to the side of the main show floor. Summary Arcane Season 2has been and gone, breaking our little hearts along the way. Vivienne is differentin this regard. She excels in the thick of things, arguably performing better the closer enemies are to her....

Summary Bloodbornecan be an absolutely brutal and terrifying game at the best of time,filled with all manner of horrible creaturesout to turn you into a dude smoothie. Thankfully, we can safely traverse the streets of Yharnam knowing that the very worst and most powerful enemies in the game are trapped behind walls of fog, and will only ever mash you into the pavement if you step into their territory. Bloodborne would be a lot scarier if bosses could simply wander around outside their boss rooms and hunt you down, which is exactly what two unfortunate players experienced earlier this week....

We finally got a proper look atBorderlands 4atThe Game Awards. It wasn’t much of a secret, considering Randy Pitchford couldn’t contain his excitement, but it was everything we expected. Cel-shaded art, a ton of Psychos, and, in the words of Neo, guns… lots of guns. However, there was something missing from the full reveal trailer. The Borderlands series is known for its trademark slapstick humour. And, while it was passable in the first two games, players got tired of rolling their eyes by the time Borderlands 3 came along....
