Summary Post-apocalytpic games are a subgenre in and of themselves. Full of dangerous worlds, horrible creatures, and people just trying to make a life for themselves, there’s a surprising amount of variation in such a bleak premise. Two games in great series:Fallout 4andStalker 2: Heart of Chornobyltake some pretty different approaches to the genre, but even they have some common ground. Whether you’re fans of either of the series, or are new to the entire genre, one may be curious which of these modern-day cult classics is worth your time?...

Usually when you go back to a game after a long time away, it’s frustrating. Oh, the run button isn’t the left stick, it’s the X button for some reason, and I have to keep tapping it continually or I’ll start walking. Oh no, square is attack and I just killed my horse. Oh, dearie me, A isn’t jump, it deletes your save, why would they do that?! Okay, the last one’s just for dramatic effect, but returning to a game after a hiatus canfeel like starting from scratch....

After aseries of leaks, theNintendo Switch 2was finally revealed a few days ago. While the immediate differences between the original console like the size and structure were evident, perhaps the biggest features of the upcoming console are that it’s fully backwards compatible and that itsJoy-Cons attach magneticallyrather than via a slide rail. There are still some unconfirmed reports about the console, like the Joy-Cons doubling up as a mouse, but it seems that the Switch 2 will be powerful enough to run most current-gen triple-A titles....

Geoff Keighley loves video games. I don’t believe there is any doubt about that fact, but as the face of video games' most prestigious ceremony, he has developed a reputation for not taking the awards he presents seriously. As you get more villagers inSengoku Dynasty, you’ll also get more parameters to keep in mind if you want to keep them happy. Thankfully, the parameters that unlock later have a very slight increase with each villager, whereas the early parameters like meals and beverages will see a significant requirement increase. If you want to meet the beverage requirement, you may either make multiple wells and have villagers constantly get water from it, or follow a little longer process to create Sake, which gives significantly higher points to this parameter....
