Summary

Recently,No Man’s Skyhas been inundated with incredible builds that pay homage, both overtly and covertly, to pop-culture locations. There was aMass Effect relay basebuilt in orbit, an underground village that looksexactly like something from Dungeons and Dragons Underdark,a working Mario Kart-style racetrack, anda huge Cyberpunk citythat could have easily been in CD Projekt Red’sCyberpunk 2077.

The latest build, while not as expansive as some of those above, is equally impressive, as one player has perfectly replicated Kami’s Lookout from the Dragon Ball series.

Now Do The Hyperbolic Time Chamber

Shared on Reddit byBlu_Eyed_Oni, this No Man’s Sky build is an almost one-to-one replica of the infamous location from the Dragon Ball series.

The lookout is known for being a platform high in the sky, featuring a solitary building that is the home of Kami and Mr. Popo. The location has a handful of trees and a small pathway to the main building, something which has been perfectly recreated by Blu_Eyed_Oni.

Kami’s Lookout debuted early in the franchise and became the place where Goku trained to fight Piccolo Jr. at the World Martial Arts Tournament. It later became the place where many of Goku’s allies trained for major battles and where Gotenks fought Super Buu in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

The build’s creator admitted to using the building glitch to perfect its circular look, something that is commonplace in large-scale No Man’s Sky builds, and lots of “cheese, trial and error”. No matter what methods they used, though, this version of Kami’s Lookout is very cool, and with thePS5 Pro version and cross-saves now availablefor the game, here’s hoping there are many more excellent builds like this to come.
