Nintendomay not have had the greatest year in 2024, with most peopledesperately awaiting news about the Nintendo Switch 2more than any specific game. It definitely felt like a spinoff kind of year for the company.

You Can Now Disappoint Yourself With Your Nintendo Switch Play Time
Log into the site with your Nintendo details, and you’ll get a nice little pie chart telling you how much of your time was split between genres, as well as your top three games you played this year, the amount of games you played, and the amount of time you spent on the Nintendo Switch in general. I would show you mine, but I played so few Nintendo games this year that the site doesn’t have enough data for me. Maybe next year.
We can almost guarantee that almost everyone will be spending more time on their Nintendo consoles next year, what with the confirmed release of the Nintendo Switch 2. While we don’t know what game the console will launch with, we already know that there are major first-party titles launching in 2025,with Pokemon Legends: Z-AandMetroid Prime 4: Beyond.
There are also very popular remasters and ports on the way too,with Donkey Kong Country Returns HDandXenoblade Chronicles X both making their way to the Switch, so definitely a lot more reasons to spend more time on Nintendo consoles to make next year’s wrap-up even more embarrassing.
