An addition to its growing range of collectible statues as First 4 Figures has shared the first images and details about an upcoming Metal Sonic statuethat will be available to pre-order next week.

The images confirming Metal Sonic’s First 4 Figures debut show the statue from the waist up, one of its arms stretched out in front to make it look like it’s about to attack an enemy. A third image shows the rocket on its back that Metal Sonic can use to propel itself, and the final image reveals the statue is crushing the warning sign that appears in Sonic games when the Blue Blur is about to fall off the edge of a level.

Step Aside Shadow, It’s A New Sonic Villain’s Time To Shine

First 4 Figures not revealing the price likely means this is going to be a pretty costly collectible.Square Enixemployed a similar tacticwhen revealing its Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Masterline statues. Now that pre-orders have opened for the Cloud and Sephiroth options, Square has confirmedit will cost at least $2,400 if you want to own one of them.

Don’t panic Sonic fans, Metal Sonic’s First 4 Figures statue almost certainly won’t cost that much. The site has already turned several Sonic characters into high-quality statues and while they’re expensive, the prices are in the hundreds, not the thousands. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles' stand-off statuesare all between $340 and $350, so it seems likely Metal Sonic’s statue will cost about the same.

There are spoilers ahead for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The ten-day-old movie, not the 30-year-old game.There’s a chance it’s slightly more expensive to be in keeping withthe Shadow statue First 4 Figures released this yearwhich costs $410.
