Summary
Aloy’s first cross-platform adventure arrived this week in the form ofLego Horizon Adventures, and there’s already evidence it won’t be the last time we see the PlayStation hero in toy brick form. Images of a new Horizon Lego set that looks like it’s directly inspired by the new game have leaked alongside Adventures' release, and if the images are real, the set is expected to be released in March 2025.
The images have been shared on Instagram bythebrickreporter(thanks,VGC) and while they’re extreme close-ups and don’t show off much, it’s definitely a Horizon Lego set that doesn’t currently exist. The Horizon series has just one Lego set so far which is the Tallneck that was released around the same time asForbidden West. However, that set has been retired which means right now, the day after the release of Horizon’s first Lego game, there are no Lego sets readily available to buy.
Even though the images don’t show much, thebrickreporter has shared some of the finer details about the potentially upcoming set. While we can see it will include an Aloy Minifigure - and it would be strange if it didn’t - the protagonist will be accompanied by Varl. Also evident from the close-up images to those familiar with Horizon is that the centerpiece of the set will be a Shell-Walker.
Horizon’s First Lego Game Could Be Followed By Its Second Lego Set
It’s Just A Shame The Gap Between Them Isn’t Smaller
If accurate, the Shell-Walker set will be quite a bit smaller than the Tallneck one at 768 pieces. That also means it will be quite a bit cheaper with an expected price of $44.99. The set is expected to be released in March 2025, but there’s a chance it will be revealed much sooner. Some of Lego’s bigger sets, includingthe toy brick debut of Mario Kart, releasing in 2025 have not only already been revealed, but the sets already have store pages.
It’s a shame there wasn’t a little more synergy between the Lego set and the new game it’s based on. People playing Lego Horizon Adventures this weekend might have been tempted to pick up its accompanying Lego set if it were available now. At the very least, people might be tempted to pre-order it, even if it isn’t going to be ready until early 2025.
If you have been playing Lego Horizon Adventures and it has left you with a hankering to get your hands on some of the real stuff, there are some pretty special sets available now.Fortnite’s first Lego sets, which include a Supply Llama and the Battle Bus, are available now, as is the highly anticipatedX-Men ‘97 X-Mansion set.

WHERE TO PLAY
LEGO Horizon Adventures gives Guerrilla Games’ Horizon post-apocalyptic universe a brick-themed makeover. While Aloy takes center stage, the game does not have to be a solo ride and supports co-op.
