Infinity Nikki doesn’t have very robust multiplayer - not yet anyway - and the only way you can really interact with other players is via the Pear-Pal, or the Snapshot feature, which lets you take group photos without being in each other’s world. However, this feature has proven a lot more cooperative than developer Infold Games probably intended.

When placing down a Snapshot, players can pose and leave messages for each other, which is meant to be used as a bit of lovely little communication between strangers. Of course, how it’s meant to be used is often not how it’sactuallyused,and as spotted by PC Gamer, a lot of fans have been using Snapshots to guide other players towards hidden objects and give away answers to puzzles.
For example, Reddit user Goodpeoplemakemehappy took to the game’s subredditto thank a player who had guided them towards an infamous hidden star on a towel rack, by taking a Snapshot and posing towards its position. Another example shared by PC Gamer is someone who has used the caption on the Snapshot to give away the answer to one of Aventura’s pop quizzes.
It’s an ingenious bit of tomfoolery that is actually helping quite a few people, though it’s unsurprising that Infinity Nikki’s systems are already being exploited, given the gamehas already hit a whopping 10 million downloads. That’s a lot of people to engage in some jolly cooperation with. Solaire would be proud.
