Stormweaver Archmage Spark Build Overview
The Stormweaver Archmage Spark build originates from a Lightning Sorceress in the game. Here you want to apply Shock on enemies and blow them up with your various Lightning spells, with Spark being the most important.
This build worksagainst mobs and bossesas all you do is press one button and simply run around the map while everything dies around you. However, one thing that you’ll have to remember for this build is thatyou’ll run into mana problemsdue to the constant spell spam.
As such,you’ll need a lot of mana regenerationfrom both gear and flasks so that your mana keeps recharging as it goes down. The Stormweaver Ascendancy class will also help out in that regard.
One of the issues with this build is thatSpark is very weak in the early game. You’llrely on a lot of Flame Wall and Raging Spiritin the early game until you unlock more spells that synergize with Spark and increase the overall damage for your build
Act I
In Act I, you receive some of the components for your build as you focus on clearing the campaign as quickly as possible. You’ll have to unlockFlame Walland attachFortressto it so that it can synergize withSpark. Additionally, unlock Spark and attachArcane Tempoto it.
You can also unlockOrb of Storms, but you don’t need to attach any support gems to it yet. Defeat the King of the Mists boss and getRaging Spiritsfrom it. While you won’t need it in the long term, it will be a key source of damage early on.
Act II
In Act II, it’s time to strengthen the build further by unlocking new skills and attaching more support gems. The first skill you need isConductivity, as it inflicts enemies with a curse where they take extra Lightning damage. Also, unlockHeightened Curseand attach it to Conductivity.
You can also unlockOverabundanceand attach it to Orb of Storms. Additionally, unlockAccelerationand attach it to Spark. Keep the Flame Wall for now, as it’s still one of your main sources of damage.
Act III And Cruel Mode
In Act III, you start unlocking more skills and gem slots to push your build to the end game. Thefirst skill you need to unlock is Cast on Shockand keep it at that for the time being. Eventually, you will unlockLightning Conduitand attach it toCast on Shock.
Apart from that,unlock a third gem slotfor Spark and Orb of Storms. ForSpark, attachPersistenceand for Orb of Storms attach Lightning Exposure and Strip Away.
You’ll also need to unlockArchmageusing an Uncut Spirit Gem and attachLightning Masteryto it. Finally,unlockMana Tempestand attachPremeditationto it.
Lightning Conduit isn’t a necessity, and you can replace it withBall Lightningif you want. You also won’t need Flame Wall and Raging Spirit anymore and can remove them from your skill inventory.
Mapping
Once Mapping starts, look forGreater Jeweller’s Orbtounlock more slots for Spark and Orb of Storms. In the case of Spark, you’ll need to attachInspirationand for Orb of Storms you’ll needOvercharge. You’ll also need tounlock Blink here and attachIngenuityto it.
Finally, you’ll have tounlock a fourth slot for Cast on Shockand attachConsidered Castingto it.
Passive Skill Tree
When it comes to the passive tree, you’ll need theskills that increase mana regeneration, provide energy shield, and Lightning damage. Some of the key passive skills to unlock are as follows:
Gear Requirements
When it comes to gear, there are two unique items you need for this build. The first one isThe Everlasting Gaze Azure Amulet,and the second one isMidnight Braid Rawhide Belt. Both of these can be farmed or purchased for Exalted Orbs from the Path of Exile 2 trading shop.
If you’re looking to go for this build, make sure yousave at least six Exalted Orbsas the Everlasting Gaze Azure Amulet will cost five Exalted Orbs and Midnight Braid Rawhide Belt will cost one Exalted Orb. However, prices often change depending on the strength of the builds.
Apart from that, you’ll need a good Wand that increases Lightning Damage and a Shield to increase defense. Additionally, it’s important to look forhealth regeneration, mana regeneration, and resistanceto all the elements when farming for body gear.
You’ll also need alot of Spiritso that you can trigger Cast on Shock, Archmage, and Blink all at the same time.
Ascendancy Requirement
When it comes to Ascendancyyou’ll have to go for Stormweaver. This will help manage your build’s mana regeneration while enhancing damage output. The key nodes you’ll have to unlock are as follows:

Tips And Tricks To Play Stormweaver Archmage Spark Build
The Stormweaver Archmage Spark build is very simple and easy to play. All you need to do isplace the Orb of Storms on a boss and then start spamming Spark. While you do this, Cast on Shock will trigger, and Lightning Conduit will rain down destructive Lightning on the enemy.
If you have Ball Lightning on Cast on Shock, a similar destructive effect will trigger as Lightning Conduit, and the boss will die in an instant.
Apart from that, Archmage will also be triggered, and the damage of all your Spark and other non-channelled spells will be significantly increased. Finally,use your Blink ability to dodge between enemieswhenever you are in danger. Also, ensure touse Conductivity to reduce the Lightning Resistanceof enemies.
