Freedom Wars Remasteredthrusts you into a world depleted of natural resources, making surviving everyday life a significant struggle. The giant prisons that people are born into micromanage everyone’s daily activity so that no assets are misused or inefficiencies created. Prisoners must earn the ability to make their own decisions or even take a break.
This manifests in players not having immediate access to game mechanics like upgrades or fast travel, and even silly trivialities like being unable to run and speak to NPCs. Thankfully, it’s possible to earn these abilities over time by making purchases in the Entitlement system.
What Are Entitlements?
Entitlements arecertificates you must buy in order to unlock specific in-game privileges. For example, one of the first Entitlements you’ll acquire isthe ability to walk around your prison cell. Engaging in restricted activity without first owning the proper Entitlement willresult in your prison sentence being extendedby a handful of years.
The Entitlement system limits more than game mechanics; you’ll need toget the appropriate permitsif you want tocustomize your character’s outfits and equipment.
Entitlements can beclaimed at the Window On Libertyin your prison cell. You’ll need tospend Entitlement Points to gain the permits you want, with costs ranging from a few hundred Points all the way to the thousands.
You’ll haveaccess to new batches of Entitlementsevery time youcomplete another CODE exam.
How To Earn Entitlement Points
Completing operationswill reward you with Entitlement Points. you’re able to expect toreceive a few thousand Pointsat every mission results screen.
you’re able to also increase your Points earned bydonating resources you lootedduring the mission. In the results screen, you’ll be shown all the items you picked up, and canchoose to sacrifice some of themin exchange for Points (this willalso knock additional years off your sentence).
You don’t need to go out on missions in order to donate resources. You cangive them up at any time by going to the Window on Liberty, letting you get a few more Entitlement Points if you’re in a pinch.
