How To Use Education Boards And Speakers
When you open a new exhibit, you’ll need toplace education mediaaround it so guests can learn new information. Otherwise, they’ll just be looking at an animal and know nothing about it.
Open the facilities tab, thenselect the media devices and education section. Here, you’ll findscreens, boards, and speakersthat can educate your guests.
Make sure toplace a variety of education toolsto provide a well-rounded experience.
Place thedesired screens and speakersaround the exhibit. Then, select each one andassign an animalto it. This will start the education process, allowing your guests to learn more about the exhibits and animals.
You canupload custom images to use for your education signsif you’re feeling creative.
How To Research Animals
Your education score can also be increased byhaving your vets researchdifferent animals. For every vetengaged in advanced research, your score will increase.
You canbuild a variety of research labsin your zoo and assign the vets to them. This is a great way to passively raise your score whileunlocking more enrichment itemsfor your animals as well!
When placing these labs, verify that there arepathways and other resources for staff to useso that their research is efficient. You can check in to see how research is going, andassign vets to researchwhichever animals you’d like in your zoo.
