This brings us to the purple cat with a big temper and an even bigger appetite, Beerus, the God of Destruction. Boasting incredible stats with almost little to no downside, he is incredibly popular in the competitive modes. Beerus In Versus And Online Matches

Beerus, being a God, boasts extremely high stats, which places him at the top of the charts in terms of power. Due to him being so powerful, his DP cost is a whopping 10 points, limiting your options in team battles. Despite the high DP cost, Beerus alone is enough to take on many fighters if played right.

HisSleep skillis an extremely powerful part of his kit. It allows you tomaintain your sustainabilityduring fights byhealing yourself substantially.

Afterlaunching your opponent at the end of a combo, activate sleepas early as possible, as the healing only happens after a few seconds.

Keep in mind that using this skillwill drain practically all of your Skill Points, which could be better used for countering or his second skill.

Breaking the line of sight and putting something between you and your opponent can give you more security when using Sleep.

Verdict of Destruction is a skill thatcosts one less Skill Point than his previous skillandwill instantly put you into Sparking Mode. Sparking Mode is where Beerus' damage reaches its peak, usinga barrage of both melee and basic Ki Blaststo pepper your opponent beforehitting them with a special or ultimate attack.

Beerus has access toone rush and two blast Special Moves. Sphere of Destruction fires avery quick projectileat the opponent andwill track them in the event they try to move away.

This can beused at the end of a combo launcher, but it is best usedto deny the opponent from charging Kiat range. Hakai Headshot is used to end your combos as itdeals much more damage and is less likely to be avoided and punished.

If theopponent is groundedafter a combo,Sphere of Destruction should be usedas there is a high chance Hakai Headshot will miss completely.

Super Sphere of Destruction is the most powerful move in Beerus' kit, and for good reason. Upon activation, he createsa giant sphere that is near impossible to avoidand iscompletely unblockable. As mentioned previously, during Sparking Mode, barrage your opponent with a mix of melee attacks and basic Ki Blasts before unleashing the ultimate.

Landing the ultimate will cause the opponent to lose sight of you, unlocking them for a short period of time. Use this opportunity to use your Sleep skill to regain some of your health safely before they can find you.
