As you progress inDisney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll find that heroes and villains alike need your help. From organizing community events to learning more about themselves and what they have to offer, as the ruler of the valley, it’s up to you to lend a hand and keep the peace.

Hades is a hothead, no doubt, but even he could use assistance from time to time. Step up to show the Lord of the Underworld what it means to be part of the community, even if things get a bit heated. He could use a friend–or maybe just a new minion in his domain.

How To Break Marble In The Storybook Vale

After you unlock Hades, you’re able to talk with him about restoring his domain. It won’t happen overnight, but taking the first steps is crucial to reaching Mount Olympus and thwarting Maleficent–or so Hades wants you to believe.

In reality, he’s tired ofseeing ruined marble pillarsin his front lawn. Unfortunately, yourRoyal Pickaxe isn’t strong enoughto break them down. With a bit of help from Hades, however, you can!

You’ll need to bring him the following materials so he cancraft a potion for your pickaxe:

Once you’vegathered everything from the Elysian Fields, you may give them to Hades. He’llupgrade your Royal Pickaxeso you can break down the marble.

How To Craft Hades Statues

Hades requests youclean up his domain, including the pesky little demon Snippets floating around the fields. You’ll need to use your Royal Pickaxe tobreak down ten hunks of marbleand your Royal Net tocatch five demon Snippets.

You can craft and place traps in the biome to slow the Snippets!

After cleaning up,return to Hades. He requests that you build statues of him with the materials you collected–though you’ll need to do some more foraging and mining. You’ll have to gatherfour marble, four magma, and four gold nuggetsto craft the statues.

With the materials in your inventory,head to your Crafting Stationand put it all together. Thendecorate the Elysian Fieldswith the four statues. When your work is done,return to Hades.

Where To Find Lightning Spice In The Storybook Vale

The next step is tosee what people thinkabout the statues. Hades asks you to disguise yourself in an outfit with the following pieces:

In your stealthy outfit,head into the Library of Loreto see what people are saying about the statues. After eavesdropping,speak with the Lorekeeperabout what you should do next.

She tells you abouta lighting device in the east wingthat can power Hades' statues and take them to the next level. However, you’ll need topower it up with lighting spice. Put three into the machine, thentalk to Hades in the east wingto tell him all about your plan.

Hades gets a bit too excited and the machine overloads. With it destroyed,Hades leaves you to clean up the mess–though you don’t have to. The quest concludes, and you can go on your merry way.
