Disney Dreamlight Valleyoffers the opportunity to meet and befriend iconic Disney and Pixar characters, welcoming them to your village and creating new relationships in the community. The Storybook Vale opens the world up even more, presenting new characters and environments to interact with at your leisure.

We’ll show you how to unlock the Mythopia region and all that it holds, as well as what you can do to progress through the story included in this Expansion Pass. Here’s everything you need to know to unlock this quest and complete it, along with a few other details you won’t want to miss!

How To Unlock The Elysian Fields

At the start of your journey, Mythopia is unavailable to you. As youhelp Merida repair the Bind, however, you’ll earn more Story Magic. This can be used tounlock Mythopia to the eastof the Lorekeeper’s Library.

It willcost 2,000 Story Magicto unlock, and Merida will meet you there to clear away the ink. Thegolden Elysian Fields will open up, and you’ll have full access to the resources here.

Once inside Mythopia, the quest,A Land Of Myths And Legends, will start.

There are no directions at first other than toexplore the new area, so mull around at your leisure and take in the sights. When you’re ready to advance,head past the vibrant pondall the way to the east.Follow the small path downto two empty braziers.

When you find this area, you’ll need toreport back to the Lorekeeper. Tell her all that you’ve found, and she’ll inform you that you’vefound a Mythic Trial site. Inside are challenges you’ll face that willtest your mettle, and you shouldn’t go it alone.

How To Catch The Wisps

Seek out Merida’s help. She’ll gladlyhelp you investigatethe trial site, but when youarrive with her in the Elysian Fields, you’ll find glowingblue Will-o'-the-Wisps about.

Merida asks you to catch them for her, though youwon’t be able to use your Royal Net. Instead, you’ll need tocatch them with your hands.

They’re quite elusive, so it’s best to eat a snack beforehand so you have extra energy and can move faster.

Get close enough to the two wisps to catch them, then interact with them toadd them to your inventory. you may find one at theentrance to the Elysian Fieldsand another over bythe Statue’s Shadowregion.

How To Unlock The Mythic Trial

Now that you’ve caught the wisps,bring them to Meridaby the trial area. She realizes that they aren’t wisps, but areactually blue flames!As for accessing the trial, you’ll have tofigure out how to get the spinning wheel to move, as it won’t budge no matter how hard you try.

Before swinging your Royal Net at it,approach the two empty brazierson either side.Deposit a single blue flame in eachto unlock the mechanism, thenhop inside the portalto begin the trial andstart the Guts & Glory quest!
