You won’t get far inGarden Witch Lifewithout unlocking recipe after recipe, as the bread and butter of progressing in the game relies on getting access to different recipes. Most of these allow you to access unique decorations for your farm, while some others need another recipe to craft.
Everything is connected once you get to crafting, and there are different ways to acquire a new recipe in the game. Some recipes cannot be unlocked any other way than by certain actions, so we’ll go over how to unlock more recipes in Garden Witch Life and how to start progressing.
What Are Recipes Used For?
Recipes are used for different aspects of the game; you can unlock recipes for cooking, and food crafted with the cauldron or cutting board can be used for multiple purposes, likereplenishing health or stamina. Some food recipes are needed forfurniturerecipes, and there are also recipes you can unlock fortoolsand useful machinery.
When you unlock a recipe, you will find it byaccessing aworkbench. The workbench in the treehouse will show every recipe, highlighting the ones you have and graying out the ones you don’t.
How To Unlock Recipes
Recipes can be unlocked with different tasks in the game; some are locked by progression, quests, or by simply exploring, and you can unlock some recipes byrepeating a task. If you harvest the same plant a certain amount of times, you will unlock recipes that require that plant.

Progressing in the gameby completing quests for NPCsis another way to unlock recipes or access to things. NPCs can be gifted things, so verify to work on building relationships.
