There are dozens of characters to unlock isDisney Dreamlight Valley, and all of them are from iconic Disney and Pixar movies. Each has a unique personality and series of quests for you to complete, granting you special rewards and insight into their lives outside their feature films.
One such character is Flynn Rider, who needs no introduction. Swept up in Maleficent’s schemes in the Storybook Vale, you’ll have to help him regain his identity and sense of self before you can introduce him back into your village. Here’s everything you need to know to unlock Flynn Rider in your village!
How To Unlock Flynn Rider
Before you canunlock Flynn Rider, you’ll need to complete several quests. These questsopen up the Storybook Valeto you, allowing you tofully explore the vast wonderlandin the sky.
The two quests you must complete are:
Once they’re complete,head to the western side of the Lorekeeper’s libraryand interact with the large wall of ink. It will cost you2,000 Story Magicto open the way forward, but once you do, you may take steps towards unlocking the dashing rogue from Tangled.
The Wolf Of The Wilds Quest Walkthrough
As soon as youunlock the Wild Woodswest of the library, this quest begins. You’re tasked withexploring the new area, but you aren’t given much instruction. Make your way tothe southwestern corner of the biome, clear away the inkies, anddiscover the Fairy Tale Trial site.

After finding the Trial site,report back to the Lorekeeper. She sends you to ask Merida for help, and the young archer will help you in the Wild Woods.
Once there, you’llfind wolf tracksleading to the Trial site. It seemsa large wolf has removed the spinning wheelthat opens the portal. You’ll have tofind it and put it back in placebefore you can enter the Fairy Tale Trial andconfront the Wolf of the Wilds.
A Sheep In Wolf’s Clothing Quest Walkthrough
Inside the trial, you’ll navigate a fragmented part of Maleficent’s castle. This is the wolf’s den, and you canspeak to him through the massive doorat the end of the hall. While he claims to be a wolf, you’llneed evidence to prove otherwiseand remind him of who he truly is.

You’ll have to solve three puzzles to find evidence based on the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale, includingwolfish slippers, musk, and howling–which can all explain what the Wolf of the Wilds really is.
Present him with these items toreveal his true identity, then complete the trial andbuild him a house in the villageto officially welcome Flynn Rider.
How To Unlock More Of Flynn Rider’s Friendship Quests
To unlock more of Flynn Rider’s quests, you need tospend time togetherand raise his friendship level. You can do this bygiving him gifts, having daily discussions, hanging out,and serving him meals at one of the village restaurants.
If you have the A Rift In Time Expansion Pass, you’re able to also earn more friendship points by winning!
As youincrease your friendship level, you’ll unlock new quests roughly every other rank. These questspresent new rewardsand challenges. Uponreaching level ten, you’ll unlock Flynn’sbest friend quest, which will wrap up his personal arc.
If you’ve already unlocked Rapunzel, you may be able tounlock even more quests to reunite the pair!
Flynn Rider’s Friendship Rewards
Each time you level up with Flynn, you’llreceive new rewards! This can vary froma sum of Star Coins to furniture, motifs, and clothing. Every item is unique and based around Flynn Rider’s personality.
