How To Start The Child’s Play Mystery
This mystery kicks of in theVillage in Sukhothai, an in fact, the entire mystery can be solved without leaving the village. From the fast travel sign, head up the stairs and continue straight across the boardwalk. When you seea staircase going down into the water on your right, turn around. You’ll see a bottle at the bottom of the stairs floating in the water.
Pick up the bottle and break it by throwing it on the ground. We recommend walking back up the stairs and smashing it on the floor rather than breaking it in the water where the contents may be difficult to see. A note calledFirst Bottle Messagewill be on the ground. Pick it up to start this mystery.
How To Solve The Child’s Play Mystery
This mystery has Indy following a series of clues hidden in glass bottles all around the village. Each note has a compass pointing towards the next and a clue that directs you where to look for the next one. The First Bottle Message says “Follow the banners to the northern shrine. There is a clue in the tree next to the hut.”
First Bottle Message
From where you find the first bottle, head up the stairs and turn left. You’ll see a path that leads between the buildings into an open area behind the village.Walk past the rice farms and head towards the hut mentioned in the note. It’s a small, open building with two people inside conversing about thieving monkeys.
On the right side of the hut is a slanted tree. Look up in the branches, and you’ll see an interact icon on a bottle. Throw your whip at the bottle to grab it out of the tree, then smash the bottle to get to the note inside.
Second Bottle Message
The second bottle message says, “Walk east and find the tallest bridge. Another clue hides underneath.” Head back the way you came, leaving the rice fields, and you should see the tallest bridge up the stairs to your left.
Jump off the bridge on the left side.Swim forwards, and when you find solid ground, you should seea boulder with a glass bottle sitting neatly on top of it.
Third Bottle Message
The last bottle message says, “Walk south to the village gate. Find the boulder where the King sits on his throne.” From here swim under the bridge and turn left. You’ll see the south village gate straight ahead, so swim towards it.
When you reach the gate walk around it to the right and you’ll see the boulder straight ahead.Underneath the boulder is a small box with two items inside. The first is an adventure book calledJumbo Shove, the second is thePhra Ruang Statuette. Picking up this figurine will complete the Child’s Play mystery.

In a year next to a hut near the northern shrine.

Each message is required to find the next one, so you won’t have any trouble finding these notes as you progress through the quest.
