From epic heroes to nefarious villains, everyone has a role to play when they come together. You can help them embrace their new roles if you can convince them to move to the village.
Some characters are more willing than others. Regardless, a bit of help goes a long way. Here’s everything you need to know to help a future friend trapped inside the Mythic Trial so you’re able to escape together and complete the challenge in the Elysian Fields of Mythopia!
How To Complete The Elysian Fields Mythic Trial
Uponcompleting theA Land Of Myths And Legendsquest,you’ll have opened a portal to the Mythic Trial and begun the Guts & Glory quest.Hurry inside the portalto see what the trial has to offer.
Inside, you’llfind a Greek mythology-inspired set of puzzles, and a new fiery friend. Head down the spiral staircase tospeak with Hadesin front of a collection of amphora vases.
Platform Puzzle One
When you talk to Hades, he tells you that he needs helpgetting the cart of vases to moveacross the chasm. He wants to decorate Mythopia with his striking visage, but he can’t get the cart to move on his own. He delegates the task to you.
To start, simplyinteract with the cart to push italong. It will glide across the chasm to the next checkpoint, and the gates beside you will open.Follow Hades along the pathto a spinning wheel, thenuse your Royal Netto activate it. It will rotate the platform so you can reach the next area.
you may alsouse this to reach a green chestdirectly across from the gate, but it’s not required.
Head across the bridgeand over the staircase.Descend on the other sideand interact with the lever tolower to bridge. Use your Royal Pickaxe tobreak the rockson the other end of the bridge, thenuse your Royal Net to open the golden gateblocking the cart’s path.
Cross back over andpush the cart along, then follow Hades to the next puzzle!
Platform Puzzle Two
In the next area with Hades, you’ll find a gaping sea of clouds. To cross over, you need touse your Royal Fishing Rod to latch onto an ornamentand haul the bridge up to you.
Once youraise the bridge, move along it to the spinning wheel in the center.Activate it to rotate the platformand the attached staircase twice so you can ascend over the next bridge.
Head down the staircase andpull the leverso you can cross to the other side of the bridge, thenactivate the lever here as well. Use your net on the spinning wheel toopen the final gate, then backtrack to the second lever.
Keep an eye out forgreen treasure cheststo snag extra rewards!
Raise the second bridgeso that the path forward is clear, thenpush the cart to the finish line. Follow Hades to the end of the trial, thentalk to himabout the progress you’ve made.
Finally,interact with the source of corruptionin the brazier. This willbring you back to the Elysian fieldsand ignite two of the six braziers sealing away Mount Olympus.
How To Build Hades' House
Once you return to the Elysian Fields,talk to Hades. He needs a place to stay while Mount Olympus is closed off, and you’re just the Junior Minion for the job.
Place the foundations for Hades' housein the Storybook Vale, then use the Scrooge McDuck sign to build it. It willcost you 10,000 Star Coins, but the Lord of the Underworld will be pleased.
Officially welcome Hades to your villageand take a commemorative photo, thenspeak to Hadesto conclude the quest and carry on with your exploration of the Storybook Vale!
