The Jungle is the fourth region you can travel to inLuma Island, and it’s located far from the actual island. There’s no flying there, so you’ll need some way of sailing to it, but there’s no way any of the townspeople can do it; the pier’s still destroyed and many boats are out of commission.
On top of it all, the Lighthouse needs to be repaired so you may have a safe journey, and you need a map to find the Jungle. Your only option is to repair the destroyed boat on your farm to get there yourself, but you’ll need to brave both the Forest and the Mountain to get everything you need.
How To Repair The Boat
Theboat you’ll needto get to the Jungle islocated on the beach on your farm, near the center of the map, and it’s the same one you start the game near.
To get everything needed to repair the boat, you’ll need tounlock access to all previous regions,the Forestandthe Mountains, a lot ofmaterials found in these two locations, andtwo key landmarksin the town need to havebeen repaired: the General Store, andthe Lighthouse.
There aresix materialsneeded,three of which are specially obtained, and theother threeare normalones you can craft:
For thethree specialty materials, you’ll need tocomplete some other questsorfind specific locationsto get them, similar to how you got the Cogwheel for the Cable Car.
Mountain Wood Planks x50
Refine Mountain Wood in a Sawmill.
Mountain Wood can be obtained by chopping down any trees located on the Mountain.
Moonstone Bar x25
Smelt Moonstone Ore in an Ore Smelter.
Moonstone Ore can be obtained by mining Moonstone Ore nodes in the Frozen Mountain Cave.
Mountain Coloring x50
Craft using Mountain Berries at a Simple Workbench.
Mountain Berries can be found on the surface andinside Mountain Templeson the Mountain.
How To Get The Lost Jungle Island Map
To get the Lost Jungle Island Map, you’ll need torepair the Lighthouseafter the earthquake on Day Five destroys it, and like other building repairs, ithas two stages.
You’ll need to repair the General Store to finish the Lighthouse’s first repair stage, as it’s theonly place that sells the Scaffolding needed for it.
In total, you’ll need five Fiber, ten Forest Wood Planks, 15 Forest Stone Blocks, five Iron Bars, and 25 Glass between both of the repair stages.
Betweenboth stages of the Lighthouse’s repair, you’re going to needseven different materials, and the majority of themneed resources from the Mountainto craft.

Refine Mountain Stone in a Sawmill.
Mountain Stone can be obtained by breaking any Mountain Boulders on the Mountain.
Glass x20
Smelt Sand in a Kiln.
Sand can be obtained by using your pickaxe on sand at any location.
Cement x15
Craft with Calcium, Sand, and Charcoal in a Kiln.
Calcium can be obtained by breaking Calcium Rocks found on the surface and cliffs on the Mountain.
Interact with the Lighthouseonce you’ve got the materialsduring each repair stage. When it’s fully repaired, you canspeak to Nelsonto complete the quest, and he’ll reward you with theLost Jungle Island Map.
How To Get The Boat Motor
For the Boat Motor, you don’t need to do anything in particular to unlock it. It’s alwaysavailable at the Fisherman’s Shop, but the caveat is that itcosts 100,000 Gold to purchase.
You’ll want toget to at least the Skilled or Expert levelof yourchosen Professionto unlock themore lucrative recipesand sell enough of your profession’s items to get the gold needed.
OpeningPurple Chests in the Forest and Mountains always drops one of their regional Jewelry, and these sell for a large amount which can help you get the Gold needed.
When you’ve got the Gold, go down to the Fisherman’s Shop at any time of day, andpurchase the Boat Motorfor the repair.
How To Get The Propeller
Thethird key material for the boat is the Propeller, and to get this item, you’ll need tohave the Mountain unlockedandreach the highest pointof it.
This is along and dangerous endeavor, and it begins by following thepath by the Cable Car’s platform to the northeastand following it all the way around to thenorthwestern corner of the region.
From there, you’llstart climbing upthe mountain, andseveral different obstacleswill make it difficult. Thefirst typeyou’ll come across isgiant snowballs that roll across the pathand willkill you if they hityou, sending you back to the start of their section.
As you climb the mountain, you canunlock multiple shortcuts down the mountain: ladders that you can let down along the edges of cliffs, and a cave system that leads to the northern and southern ends of the map.
You’ll also come acrosssections with falling snowballsand brokenscaffolding you need to repairwith Mountain Wood tocreate a roof, blocking the snowballs from hitting you.
Thefinal type of obstacleis theSnowstorm Prism, which rotates along a central point andshoots out a beam that will kill youif it hits. They’ll always befound in a small area with ice tilesthat cause you to slide, androcks or cliffs you can hide behindto avoid the beam.
Avoid these as you make your way up and around to the top of the mountain, and you’llfind the Propellerat an unfinished campsiteat the top, next to one of the shortcut caves andnear a Red Chest, which contains thedrawing for the Villa.
You canunlock the Mountain Explorer achievementby climbing up to the peak with the Red Chest on it.
What Can You Find In The Jungle?
Once you’vegot all six materials, head back to the boat andinteract with it to repair it, then you can take it over to the Jungle.
You’ll start on a beach similar to that on your farm, and you canbegin collecting the new materialsavailable:Jungle Wood and Jungle Stone, as well as any nearbyJungle Berries and Giant Flowers, which can beharvested to get Jungle Flowers.
Jungle Mushrooms areeasier to find and more common inside the Forbidden Jungle Cavethan out in the open area of the Jungle.
The first new ingredientsfor the Fisherman Professionare also available as soon as you arrive. Thenew bait type is Dragonflies, which move quickly like the Grasshoppers from the Forest,Bladefin can be found right off the shoreyou arrive at,Lobster and Caviarare on the beaches, andOctopusis available from any non-bubbling water.
Alongsidenew Fishing resources, you’ll also come acrossnew enemy types, such as theSkeletal Sludgeand theSaw Plant:
You can findnew Pirate-based materialsfor theTreasure Hunter Profession, such as Pirate’s Black-Gold Bars, Pirate Gun Powder, and Pirate’s Jewels.
The Junglefeatures bridges you need to repair to access new areas like those on the Mountain, and they cost five Jungle Wood Planks, five Jungle Stone Blocks, and ten Silk Ropes each.
There will also beanother giant templeto unlock, and this time you’ll be searching for thethree Magma Tablets, which arelocated in three different Jungle templesscattered throughout the island.
How To Find The Jungle Caves
The first place you’ll want to visit is theForbidden Jungle Cave, so you canstart gathering Volcanic Orefor further upgrading your Tools, and if you’re aJewelrycrafter, get some of thenew gems and the new rubble.
It’s rightnear the arrival pointin the Jungle, and all you need to do isnorthwest along the shore, past the Skeleton Sludge, and there’s going to be ashallow curve of sand in the wateryou can use toreach a small beachwith the cave entrance and anunfinished camp.
you’re able to change your Graphics Settings to Medium or above toget a better view of where the shallow walkways arein the water.
Inside the Forbidden Cave, besides the Charcoal nodes, you’ll findVolcanic Ore, which is going to be thenew standard metal barfor thefourth tier of your tool’s upgrades, and otheritems like Volcanic Magnets.
There’s going to be anotherthree new gems– Sunset Fire Opal, Ruby, and Diamond – and theaccompanying rubblefor their jewelry isPlatinum Rubble, which makes Platinum Bars.
TheForbidden Jungle Cave has explosive rocks like the Frozen Mountain Cave, and they’re always medium-sized round rocks without any grass or moss on them.
Jungle Spiderswill be the spider variant you’ll face in this cave, and besides being thefastest of the four, they can alsooccasionally resist the stun of your Whipand go in for an attack much sooner than usual.
Theyappear with and have a purple glow, and theyoften spawn two at a time, even if you haven’t started hitting a gem, so you’llwant at least a level four Moonstone Whipwhen dealing with them.
