Mobile games frequently have some way to redeem offers from third-party collaborations, andPokemon TCG Pocketis no exception. Unfortunately, the method for redeeming the codes you receive for buying certain products or participating in an event isn’t explained in the app.
With no in-game hints or links to clarify the process, you may be sitting on some codes that you have no way to redeem. Thankfully, we’ve already done the footwork, and can serve as your guide to gifts in the popular TCG simulator. And all you need is a code and an internet connection!
What Are Gift Codes?
Sometimes, when you attend an in-person event like a convention, or buy certain products from The Pokemon Center or a company running a collaboration like the Pokemon TCG Happy Meals at Mcdonald’s, you’ll receive a code on a card or in our email. Thesecodes can be redeemed in Pokemon TCG Pocket foritemslikePack Hourglasses.
Historically, most mobile games have had a way to redeem promo codes in the app itself. However, Apple prohibits games from having in-app purchases and code redemptions outside the App Store. So some games, including Pokemon TCG Pocket,use an external site to redeem codes. So don’t waste any time looking for a place to type in your code in the app.
How To Redeem Gift Codes
In order to redeem gift codes, you need three things:the gift code,your Support ID, andaccess to a web browser. you may then redeem your code in a few easy steps:
Your gift may not show up immediately, so give it a minute or two, or restart the game to refresh your Gift feed. Thenclaim your gifts from the same menu where you receive your Promo Packsand other rewards.
How To Find Your Support ID
Your Support ID is unique to your account and pretty simple to find. From the home screen,click the Menu button in the bottom right corner of the screen, the one that looks like three horizontal bars. From there,your Support ID will appear at the top of the screen, above your username and icon.
If you’re redeeming your gift codes from your phone, click the copy icon next to your Support ID to add it to your clipboard.
