Sengoku Dynastyis a survival-crafting game where you have to gather refugees to settle in your village and increase your authority in Nata Valley by liberating regions from the influence of bandits, looters, and the like.
As you progress through the game, you’re bound to increase the population of your villages, which will, in turn, increase the demands of your villagers. If you fail to meet those demands, these villagers will eventually leave your village to settle somewhere else. But, there are several ways to stop that from happening and to make your villages flourish.
How To Stop Villagers From Leaving In Sengoku Dynasty
If thesatisfaction levelof your villagersdrops below 2.00, it is likely that they willattempt to leave the villageand settle somewhere else. When that happens, the game will give you anotification, indicating the number of villagers that areprone to leaving.
Unhappy villagerswon’t wait for a season changeto leave your village. They will do so any day if their satisfaction drops too low.
you may also check which villagers are prone to leaving by checking thePopulation tab in the Dynasty menu.To prevent the population reductions, you will need toincrease the satisfaction levelof your populationby increasing the production of your villages.
The higher the population, the more difficult it will be to increase their satisfaction level. So, you should attempt to settle more villages to divide the population, which will also decrease their needs drastically.
If you head over to theDynasty menu, you will seeseveral parameters at the bottom of the screen, showing you the consumption and production of the village. If theconsumption is higher than the production, then the satisfaction level of your villagerswill continue to deteriorate.
There are different ways to deal with each type of parameter, and as your population and Dynasty level increase, some new parameters will be unlocked, such asspirituality and luxury.
How To Increase Meal Production
If you’relow on meal production, the best way to deal with this issue is bybuilding a kitchen and assigning a cookto it. Cooked food isincredibly efficient at raising your meal production. You can also set up small farms to grow food.
If you’rehaving trouble finding appropriate seed bagsor are dealing with winter, you may alsobuy food from tradersto fulfill the needs of your villagers.
How To Increase Heating Production
Heating requiresfirewood and sticks. If you’re low on heating production, you can set upwoodworker shopstoincrease the production of firewoodor get foragers to collect sticks.
You can increase the efficiency of woodworker shops by placing another carpentry station in the same building. You will have to assign a new worker to it, but it is still better than building another woodworker’s shop.
You can alsoset up a charcoal kiln to produce charcoal, which can efficiently raise your heating production. But, a charcoal kiln alsorequires firewood to turn into charcoal,so you’ll still need a lot of it.
How To Increase Beverage Production
You can easily increase beverage productionby setting up wells in your village. A simple or advanced well candrastically boost your beverage production. Note that you don’t necessarily have to build a beverage storage to collect water from wells.
You can alsocraft sake, which is the most efficient way to increase beverage production in your village. However, sake requires you to build a brewery, which can be a significant investment on its own.
How To Increase Maintenance Production
Maintenance depends on producing various items. You canget woodworkers to craft planks, andminers to mine clayto increase maintenance production. However, mining clay is region-dependent,so you will have to focus on other methods if your village is in a region where clay isn’t available as a regional good.
you’re able to alsoassign a worker to a stonemason’s stationat a miner’s shop and make themcraft chiseled stones. Getting a worker to craft chiseled stones requires you tohave chisels in your inventory or storage, which can becrafted at a blacksmith’s shop.
How To Increase Health Production
Health production requires you to builda kitchen or a forager’s hut. You need toassign a cook to the herbalist station in a forager’s hutor get the cook in the kitchen to increase the production of beverages, such as amazake or tea.
The easiest way to increase health production isby assigning your foragers to collect herbsand thenassigning the herbalist to craft a warming drinkthat requires water and three herbs. However, you will have topurchase the recipefor a warming drink first, before you’re able to assign your worker to make it for you.
How To Increase Security Production
Security productioncan be increased bymaking guard towers and assigning a guard to them. You will also have toset one of the workers in the workshop or in the blacksmith’s shop to craft weapons, as the guard will require a weapon to function properly.
You canplace multiple guard towers to increase security, but this is one of the parameters that you won’t have to worry much about, because thesecurity requirements aren’t usually that highand two or three guard towers are usually enough to fulfill the demands of your villagers.
How To Increase Spiritual Production
Spiritual production is unlocked afteryou’ve gathered at least 36 villagers. Spiritual production depends on thereligious needs of your villagersand requires you to eithercraft religious items, or shrinesto deal with the villagers' requirements.
An easy way to increase spiritual production isby building a medium shrine and assigning a worker as a priestto it. However, note that building a medium shrinerequires premium deciduous logs and planks, which can be found near Aratani village.
You can alsoset up stonemasons to craft statues, which increase the spiritual production, but you will have to unlock the recipes of these statues first. Furthermore, you can alsohave your blacksmith craft religious items, such as an incense burner, a small gong, or a standing bell to increase the efficiency of spiritual production.
How To Increase Luxury Production
Luxury production is unlocked afteryou’ve increased your population to 42. The easy way to increase your luxury production isby setting up a tailor’s shop and having them craft clothes. You could alsoset up a papermaker building to craft paper, which will also increase luxury production.
Furthermore, ice is also considered a luxury, so if you cangather enough in winter, and store it in an ice storage, you’ll have enough luxury goods to last for a few seasons.
If you have any luxury goods stored in your dynasty storage that you have other plans for, it’s best to take them out before you hit the 42 population mark, because the villagers will start using them without your consent right away.
These are all the basic ways to increase certain types of production to maintain the satisfaction level of your villagers. If you’re lacking anything and don’t have the resources for it, you can also set up a trading post andbuy the required products from merchantsto fulfill the needs of your villagers.
