Ready, set, collect checkered flag tokens and go for the November racing event forMonopoly Go, the Harvest Racers event! Beginning at10AM EST on November 26with the team-building stage, you’ll begin the actual races at10AM EST on November 27. From there, you’ve got the weekend to play along!
Each day from then throughNovember 30, you’ll be teaming up with three other players to move your team’s car around the game board, collecting lap rewards as you go. The prizes are awarded at the end of the event, so be sure to help your team this week!
How To Play Harvest Racers
The first and most important thing to do now during the first day of the Harvest Racers event in Monopoly Go is to begin tobuild a strong team of three other players! Our best advice for this is always to eitherteam up with people you know in real lifeso you can actively communicate about the game, or toteam up with the most active players on your friends list. If they’ve always got shields when you try to do a Shutdown on their board, they’re likelya good pick for a teammate, since they’re playing Monopoly Go a lot.
Each team needs a total of four people to compete, but a new addition in the November Tycoon Racers event is the ability toleave a team before the race begins. If you don’t like who you’ve been matched with - if someone brings a teammate you don’t want to the table, or you receive a better offer and don’t have space for the other player - you canclick the red door beneath your player iconon the team screen. Monopoly Go will confirm this decision, and then you’re free to start from scratch.
Like most special events in Monopoly Go, the Harvest Racers event requires you tocollect tokens from other eventsthat run in tandem with the November racers event, and then work together with three other players to move your teams' car around the game board, completing more laps than thethree other teams you’re up againstthroughout the Thanksgiving week in the US.
By expending tokens once the races begin, you’ll be able toroll three dice to move your team’s cararound the game board, with the sum of those three dice added to your teams' cumulative score. you’re able to choose toroll with a higher multiplierif you have enough flag tokens on hand to do so, and your score will be multipliedby the number on the multiplieras well. You’ll also have your scoredoubled when you roll doubles, and it’ll instead betripled for rolling three of the same numberon each of the dice.
How you choose to approach rolling the dice for the Harvest Racers event is truly left to your own play style! Some players save their tokens to roll fewer times with higher multipliers to cash in more effectively on good rolls, and some prefer to roll more times with lower multipliers to recover a little easier from the lower ones. It’s truly up to you and how many tokens you have - there’s no right or wrong way to play.
As mentioned above, as your team makes its way around the board, there will be a number oflap rewardsto collect as your team rolls and earns points. This is tracked as youpass the starting linein the team’s car, so be sure to keep an eye on this number by the starting line for the next available lap reward. Though you’re working together to move your vehicle with three other players,everyone on the team gets to choose their own lap rewardseach time your team achieves a new lap reward.
Each race lasts about 24 hoursduring the Harvest Racers event, and you’ll receive a set number of points for coming in first, second, third, and last in each race. There aren’t prizes for completing each individual race, butprizes are awarded based on your teams' overall standing once the races concludeon November 30.
The second, third, and fourth place teams receivea smattering of sticker packsto hopefully help finish any albums you’ve got left inthe Marvel Go sticker albums, since the current album season ends on December 5. As such, the top prizes for Harvest Racers are pretty heavy on the stickers!
The first-place team naturally gets the best slew of rewards for Harvest Racers, though. If your team comes in first after the event is said and done, you’ll receive aWild Stickertochoose any missing sticker, aSwap Packto hopefully get some rarer additions, anew board tokenofa chicken on a lawn mower, and even anew emojiwaving a checkered race flagto boot!

Be sure you’re collecting your lap rewards throughout the week! These prizes won’t be paid out for Harvest Racers until the event ends, so the lap rewards in this month’s Tycoon Racers is a great way to stock up on prizes as your team progresses.

One of the most important elements of playing the racing events in Monopoly Go is being sure tocollect as many checkered flag tokens as you may, which come to you in a number of different ways while the Harvest Racers event is happening. These include:
You’ve got 25 hours to collect tokens before the Harvest Racers event begins properly on November 27 at 11AM EST with the first race, but be sure tokeep collecting throughout the week, since you’ll need to keep the momentum going to complete the event! As mentioned above, Harvest Racers rewards won’t be paid out until the event comes to an end, so be sure to keep playing Monopoly Go throughout the week to help your team out in the November Tycoon Racers event.
